Slip and fall accidents
A lot of people do not realize that when they are on another person’s property they have certain obligations, and the property owners or occupiers, in turn, have certain obligations as well. For example, a property owner has a duty to warn visitors of possible dangers while they are on his or her property so that those visitors do not get hurt; of course, this applies to businesses as well.
When a property owner fails to do this, a slip and fall accident can occur. Injuries from such an accident might not be readily apparent; for example, a person might slip and fall because of a wet supermarket floor and not realize that he or she has a serious injury until the following day or even later.
