Carl at Kennedy Tramsmission Brake and Auto was AWESOME!! He was knowledgeable right off the bat! Got our car in very quickly. Fixed the problem with our shifter and sent us on our way! I took my truck for a hard shifting problem 1st to 2nd and they replaced a wire that I almost laughed just by looking at it because of the terrible way they did it, even I wouldn't do such a horrible job, I even think they they damaged it themselves, and I had to pay the dealership to replace it, they should reimburse for that expense, they told me they changed a solenoid and when I took it to the dealership they showed the solenoid not working, they told me they would replace the internal harness and they didn't, even though they had the truck for a week, eventhough they didn't charge me, now I know why! I would not recommend this place for transmission repair, they're totally inept!

I live in Florida, and because of sad news with the death of my father, we drove north to Minnesota.. up until yesterday, we've never experienced any trouble with our vehicle, granted it was -40 windchill.. we called, and they saw me the very next day, and I was in and out in no time. Bless these folks, especially Blake and Carl.. Carl remembered the conversation with my wife the previous day.. The power of prayer and the good people at Kennedy Transmission in Apple Valley, MN.. 5 out of 5!!

Dave, Carl and the crew are awesome here! I've been taking my vehicles here for years and they do a good job. Never once I had to return the vehicle for the same problem twice. Very honest people, always explain the process and the estimate is always right on. Keep up the good work guys! See you again soon on my next service.

I was told by another shop my transmission needed to be replaced and that the truck was basically junk (a 2019 model w/ 83k miles). The gentleman I spoke with on the phone at Kennedy not only eased my mind that that probably isn’t the case, but also that the issue may potentially be fixed at a far less expense. 1) he was knowledgeable, professional, and customer (potential) service oriented; and 2) if the other shop turns out to be correct, and I now highly doubt that to be the case, I know exactly where I’ll take my truck to. Thank you for taking the time to explain over the phone and ease my mind. This is what earns lifelong customers.

I needed some work done on my truck. I am very careful who I do business with. I would like to say I called and talk to a person named Dave he was so nice to talk with and informative . My experience with him when I went in was great . His staff was very good at what they do. I would tell you save your time and effort checking around there service,price,parts are as good as it gets. I talked to the owner he was extremely nice and I'm so glad that they fixed my transmission. The only reason why I gave 3 stars instead of five is there's a lack of communication about the status of my car. Also the guy at the front is very rude. It's amazing how people become nice when they're supervisors are sitting behind them but are rude any other time. Overall good experience.

Transmission issues are never pleasant but I fully believe Dave at Kennedy Transmission made it as pleasant as it could possibly be! I had my transmission rebuilt and spoke to Dave every time I called the shop. He really put me at ease and communicated well with me throughout the whole process. After my car was done I was still having an issue with it, after describing the issue to Dave and one of his techs they both agreed based on what I was describing to them it probably was just the spark plugs needing to be changed. I’m not going to lie, I thought that was wrong and so did every person I told that too including another mechanic. I decided to go ahead and change the spark plugs to rule it out before I brought my car back in to them and sure enough the issue was fixed! This just shows they really do know what they’re talking about, and they are honest about it. Never pushy, never rude. Only caring and honest in my experience! I will never want to bring my car anywhere else!

Dave and his team are always great. I have 5 cars among myself, wife and kids, so lots of maintenance. I love that I can bring them all in for oil changes and they don't come out to the lobby with hundreds of dollars worth of additional work they suggest getting done. They are always super friendly and accommodating.
