I noticed some imperfections on my deck, which covers living space below, so watertightness is absolutely critical. I called KDOC Construction, and James came out promptly to inspect the lifting areas and seams. He confirmed my concerns and quoted me for resurfacing with a superior new process. Having built my own house, I’m quite knowledgeable about the structure—and I can spot when a contractor is trying to upsell something unnecessary. That’s why I’m sharing this: after our thorough discussions, I was so comfortable with James that I didn’t bother getting other quotes. I knew the project would exceed my expectations. I’m thrilled to say that after two weeks of work, my instincts and trust in James and his team were spot-on! The deck looks incredible!! It’s actually a cleaner, better job than the original Dexerdex-o-Tex installation. I’m overwhelmingly satisfied. The crew was amazing too. They even delivered a porta-potty on day one so they wouldn’t need to use my bathroom—such a thoughtful touch! The workers were friendly, highly skilled, and kept me updated every step of the way. They cleaned up the site daily, leaving no mess around my house (something I truly appreciate, and not every contractor delivers). Bottom line: If you need a new deck, repairs, replacement, or any waterproofing work, call James at KDOC Construction first. You won’t be disappointed!
