Tried this Cafe recently and really liked the food. The ramen tasted authentic, and since it’s prepared by Japanese chefs, the flavours were very well balanced. The Tantanmen was my favourite — rich and comforting. Also tried the Veg Miso Ramen (small) and Veg Kazan Miso Ramen, both really good. The Veg Gyoza was a great side, and the Mango Orange & Lychee Soda were super refreshing. Overall, a solid ramen spot in Bangalore — worth checking out, especially with their free ramen offer on the next visit. 🍜

Craving something warm, comforting, and unapologetically flavourful, we headed to Kazan Japanese Ramen, a place that’s steadily built a reputation in Bengaluru for doing ramen right. From the moment the food arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t a watered-down interpretation of Japanese comfort food. We began with beverages—the Lychee Ginger Soda and the Mango Orange Soda. Both were refreshing and well-balanced, especially suited to cut through the richness of what was to come. The lychee-ginger combination stood out with its subtle spice and floral sweetness, while the mango-orange soda was brighter and more citrus-forward, making it an easy, crowd-pleasing pick. For starters, we ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken, and it delivered exactly what the name promised. Crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a spicy glaze that lingered just long enough—it was indulgent without being greasy, and a solid opener to the meal. The real stars, however, were the ramen bowls. The Tori Paitan Ramen Karamiso was rich, creamy, and deeply comforting. The chicken-based broth had body and depth, with the karamiso adding a spicy, umami-heavy punch that built gradually rather than overwhelming the palate. Every spoonful felt warming and satisfying. The Tantanmen offered a completely different experience—nutty, spicy, and bold. The sesame-forward broth paired beautifully with the minced meat and chilli oil, creating a bowl that was intense but well-balanced. It was the kind of ramen that demands your attention and rewards you for it. Overall, Kazan Japanese Ramen nails the essentials—flavourful broths, well-executed dishes, and a menu that understands comfort without playing it safe. Whether you’re a ramen regular or just dipping your toes into Japanese cuisine, this is a place worth returning to, especially when you’re in the mood for something warm and satisfying.

Kazan Japanese Ramen is my go-to place whenever I crave Japanese food, and I honestly end up visiting almost every single time that craving hits. The consistency in taste and quality is what keeps me coming back. I absolutely love their gyoza perfectly cooked, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve had. It’s a must-order for me on every visit. Another favorite is their Tantum Ramen, which is rich, comforting, and packed with bold flavors. It really hits the spot, especially if you enjoy a hearty, satisfying bowl of ramen. The overall experience has always been great, from the food quality to the cozy, authentic Japanese vibe of the place. It’s ideal whether you’re a ramen lover or someone looking to explore Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend Kazan if you’re looking for reliable, delicious Japanese food, it never disappoints.

Skip it if you don't like Japanese. Worth it for the starters. Ramen, not all are worthy. Good staff. Good service. Good washrooms. Ambience is good, can be great. Always there will be crowd and you may have to wait on weekends. Weekdays are okay.

The food was good and the ambiance was decent. The place was quite lively and not exactly calm, but still enjoyable overall. Service was fine, though I did notice that a service charge of ₹100 was added to the bill, which I didn’t expect, but paid it anyway.

Place gets very busy at lunch time on a weekend. Table reservation recommended. We did tori paidan Shoyu with bone in chicken. Chicken was juicy, well seasoned. Ramen was balanced, warm and comforting classic. Gyoza is something to try when you are here.

Food quality was good and properly prepared, but the service experience was disappointing. The staff lacked basic hospitality and courtesy. Even after a significant bill amount, the interaction did not feel welcoming. There was also a delay in payment confirmation, and while mistakes happen, how they are handled makes a difference. Service culture needs improvement to match the quality of the food.

Terrible food, unfortunately. Disappointing sushi (had the prawn and the veg one), ramen was super average- it had raw onion in it as garnish. Service was a cherry on top- rude, slow and had to call them multiple times. Celebrated a friend's birthday there, came out disappointed and unhappy. 0/10 rec Gyoza was good, slightly burnt on the side.

We recently visited a Japanese cuisine restaurant on Church Street and had a lovely experience. We tried their Shoyu Ramen and Chicken Dumplings — both were delicious and full of rich, authentic flavours. A drizzle of chilli oil made them taste even better! The service was warm and attentive. The ground floor seating gives off cozy Japanese street restaurant vibes, while the first floor feels more spacious and calm — perfect for a relaxed meal.
