We had a terrible experience with Katy Pro paint and would recommend anyone to look elsewhere if repainting your home. Luis and his crew recently re-painted the trim throughout our house, and quality of work was a constant struggle. They had originally told us that it would take them 2 days to perform the work, and it ended up taking 4 because they would blaze through each area of the house and we had to constantly go backcheck their work and ask them to perform touch ups in every room. Paint lines were not straight, excess paint was on our wood & tile floors, metal stair pickets, and on the wall above the base trim (different color). Where they had removed door hardware, they did not replace all of it, or put it back incorrectly where it was not functional. It seemed that all they focused on was speed, and not quality of work until specifically asked to correct each individual area throughout the house. They had argued with us about misplacing paint, which they had stored in their trailer. And to top it all off, they had set a can of paint remover on our Pottery Barn buffet table which left an irremovable stain and are refusing to acknowledge it was them unless we have a photo of them doing so.
Unless you have time to stay at home and superintend them the entire time that they are performing work, I would highly advise that you reach out to another painter.
We were excited to have Katy Pro help re-paint our house after reading their reviews online, but could not have been more disappointed about the whole process - especially the damaged buffet table. If you have already moved into your house, do not expect them to protect or avoid setting things on your adjacent belongings.
