Fresh Palace Restaurant in Shabiya is a gem for anyone craving authentic Kerala food. The Ummachi Choru, Kottayam Kanji, Kappa, and Beef Ularthiyathu were delicious, served hot and fresh. A special shoutout to ANUCHECHI, the best staff member, who treated us like family and made the experience even more enjoyable with her warm hospitality. The moru and payasam were perfect finishing touches. I’ll definitely be back!

Kanji was delivered without a spoon, which made the experience unpleasant. The customer service was disappointing, and their way of speaking felt insulting. വളരെ മോശം എക്സ്പീരിയൻസ്.

For a shop named as Kanji Kada (Gruel Shop), the gruel is very much mediocre. They didnt even have salt in their gruel. Need to ask separately. As the name suggests the restaurant is old, you can see that on the walls and ceilings as well.

We tried fresh palace restaurant today and ordered King Fish Nirvana, Nool Porotta and Beef Dry Chilly. The Nool Porotta was great, but although the Nirvana gravy was delicious, the fish didn't seem fresh, and the Chilly dish didn't meet my expectations. The fresh milk taste wasn't fine, so I had a lovely Sulaimani from there instead! I will visit again to see any improvements. The ambiance was fantastic and suitable for families or parties. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and hygienic.

Are they serving anything really fresh or is it just in their name only😇... Had a very wost experience when ordered fish fry. It was not even fresh and tasted like dried one. The fish size was also small when considering the price they charged. Not satisfied with food and with the response from their end👎👎👎

This is the Kanjikada you are looking for. Amazing Kerala dishes with authentic taste, we went there to have chatti chor but by evening around 3:30, it got finished so plan accordingly if you want the dish you saw on Instagram. But you will get another spicy and tasty dish, we ordered shaap kanji, which was really good, just like pazhamkanji. You will love it. Pic attached. And the best part is the price. Best food with a cheap price is what you will get here. Happy customer service as well. Will definitely come again to try other dishes. Recommended!
