Kalero Vineyard

I think this place has a lot of potential. The photographers are wonderful. The barn is lovely inside with two levels. Outside is interesting because instead of looking over the land, you're looking into a hill. The wine was okay, on this day. Two reds had an unusual aftertaste that I couldn't identify. I would return to see how things progress.

I had my wedding at Kalero on 10/13/25. From the start, Ann was extremely responsive. Any questions I had was given a response within the day. She was willing to work with us for anything we needed the venue itself is gorgeous!! From the vineyards, the views, the barn reception area… it’s so beautiful outside and so cute inside. I truly didn’t feel like I had to go overboard with decorations, as the place itself is great. I highly suggest touring the venue, it’s SO worth it!

We had our wedding over the summer at Kalero, absolutely gorgeous setting and Ann was fantastic to work with. Photos in the vines at sunset were A++ Dog AND alpaca friendly meant that we could have a really unique and memorable big day....10/10!

We found Kalero through the Loudoun Heights Holiday Ornament Trail and really enjoyed our visit....we will definately visit again! Cozy tasting room, great wines and friendly staff! Lovely outdoor space too for when it is warmer! Subtle bouquet of honeysuckle and orange blossom with bright finish. 2024 Kalero Sauvignon Blanc - 100% estate grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes aged in stainless steel. Bright and expressiv aroumatics of grape fruit, lemon zest and freshly cut grass that ends with clean finish. 2020 Kalero Petit Verdot- 100% estate Petit Verdot - Rich full bodied red . ill just improve with age. 2023 Kalero Cab Franc - 100% estate Cab Franc aged - Medium bodied with hints of black pepper finish. Glass: 2023 Kalero Chardonnay - 100% Chardonnay grapes aged in stainless steel. 12APR.2026 The day I went here to visit from a project of Scrape for the Grape..this place had a private event happening. Maybe another time I can see inside the property and maybe taste a decent flight of wines.

Venue is very nice. There are some holes and depressions in the grass around the ceremony area to be aware of if you have older or mobility challenges folks attending. The gravel parking lot is difficult for rollators or wheelchairs as well. Apart from those things the place is beautiful and the staff was very attentive and professional.

After an exhaustive search, we decided that Kalero Vineyard was the perfect place for us to host our wedding in the fall of 2022. Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Kalero offered a beautiful working vineyard with gorgeous views for our outdoor ceremony, several outdoor patios for our cocktail hour, and a spacious and rustic barn for our reception. Just an hour from Washington, DC, it was the perfect distance for our in-town friends to attend while being well removed from any semblance of city life. Our out-of-town guests had many options to choose from with Dulles Airport a short 30 minute drive away. We could not have asked for a better location or a more pleasant experience. Also very important to our decision to choose Kalero was the way we felt when we were there. Ann was warm, welcoming, interested in us, and, unlike most of the other wedding venues we visited, we felt as if we were joining a family, not enveloped in some corporate wedding machine. As a gay couple, we appreciated seeing the venue feature other non-traditional couples on their website, which made us feel welcome and at ease even before stepping foot on the property. Our heartfelt thanks to Ann and Natalie for their help throughout the entire process. We absolutely made the right decision in choosing Kalero Vineyard, and will never forget all the amazing memories that were made there!

If you're on the hunt for a wedding venue that nails it with awesome views and great vibes, you've got to check out Kalero Vineyard. As a wedding photographer, I get to see a lot of epic places, and Kalero really knocks it out of the park. The landscapes are killer, and the team there is passionately dedicated to making sure everyone—couples, guests, and us vendors—has a smooth and great day. We are so happy we got married at Kalero! The venue on it's own is so beautiful it makes decorating it much less stressful. Ann was great to work with and we adore the stunning backdrop the venue provided us with. As a Loudoun native, it was a dream to have a winery wedding close to home, and at a reasonable price!

We felt lucky to get a date for our wedding at Kalero: The scenery is gorgeous, the venue barn was perfect inside and out with awesome indoor and patio space for the various parts of our wedding. Ann was responsive and kind and clearly experienced with a wide variety of weddings and worked flawlessly with our vendors (and has a great preferred vendors list for whatever you might need) and always gave us great advice when we had questions. We couldn't be happier to have been married there.
