We had the most incredible honeymoon and safari experience thanks to the Kalahari Breeze Safari crew! We live in Europe and had no idea how to plan a safari in Africa. We did some research online and reached out to several agencies; however, KBS was by far the fastest to respond, the most detail-oriented, and the kindest team we were lucky enough to find. From day one, Maria—who answered all our messages—was incredibly patient with us, resolving every kind of question (even some that probably weren’t related to their services), but her support definitely helped us make the right choices and feel well-prepared. She even helped me coordinate a surprise birthday cake and a nice bottle of wine to celebrate my husband right in the middle of the savannah. When we arrived in Botswana, we finally met her, and she was just as kind in person as she had been over email. Our interaction felt so natural and genuine. Her good energy and professionalism were reflected in the entire crew that took care of us throughout the trip: an experienced guide, the best chef you could ever imagine in the bush, and the wonderful helpers who not only made sure our camp was always ready but also paid attention to the smallest details—like ensuring we had warm water for showers, a cozy fire to enjoy at night, or even welcoming us to camp with a beautiful song. We had the unique opportunity to explore the heart of the savannah and witness animals in their natural habitat, while also connecting with local people who generously shared their time and stories with us. We came back with so much more than just pictures and videos—we brought home a life-changing experience and a new perspective on life. Thank you so much again, Maria, and the entire KBS team!

: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I reached out to Maria at Kalahari Breeze and I’m so glad I did. From the very first message, she was so responsive, patient, and helpful, even with our many last-minute changes. She managed to put together the most amazing safari for us, everything ran smoothly, we were always picked up on time, and the lodges and experiences she chose were just perfect. It honestly felt like a trip of a lifetime, and I can’t thank her enough for making it all so special. I would recommend Maria in a heartbeat, and I’d love to plan more adventures with Kalahari Breeze when we return to Botswana.

We had an absolutely amazing experience. We had booked the mokoro and game drive experience over two days with this company, and after consulting with them, decided to convert it into one night of wildcamping so we could get the most out of those two experiences (and not spend all our time on the road between Maun and our destinations). It was absolutely incredible, and so well worth it. We really enjoyed our guide, and saw animals we’ve never seen in other game drives (including UP CLOSE of a gorgeous female lion and herd of elephant aunties protecting their babies - closer than we’ve ever been before). The mokoro tour was amazing - so peaceful and beautiful - and saw so many hippos up close! The wildcamping was much more comfortable than I was expecting - including the bush potty - I would definitely do it again. The food we were served was wonderful too. I can’t say enough good things about this company - this is a great experience.

We spent 10 days in Botswana with Kalahari Breeze in October. From the very first contact, the company was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs, tailoring the entire journey to match our wishes. Once we were on-site, everything was impeccably organized, making for a seamless and enjoyable experience. The guides were not only highly knowledgeable but also very kind and helpful, always eager to share their insights and ensure we had a memorable safari. We enjoyed every day vaious game drives, bush walks, mokoro rides and much more. One special highlight was to watch a real lion hunt. Incredible amazing! They really cared about us and the meals they provided for us were so delicious. Thank you again! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My wife and I and a friend of ours visited Botswana for about 6 days. We loved Botswana and our time there. We booked our entire trip with Kalahari Bree3 Safari. Maria was very helpful with adapting the tour to meet our interests and setting everything up ahead of time months in advance. We did a No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Tour in Gaborone with Andy (very knowledgeable and friendly) and were in the capable hands of Chanda as a guide for much of the rest of our trip. We learned about the inhabitants and culture of Botswana. We hiked in the beautiful gorge of Goo Moremi, seeing baboons and learning about the history and natural beauty. We were awed at the beauty of the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, seeing loads of wildlife. We also experienced wildlife up close through a national park from a SUV. (Lots of bumpy sand roads to see these great animals, btw) We capped off our trip with an exhilarating Mokoro Boat trip and short hike in the Okovango Delta near Maun. We stayed in fantastic accommodations along the way, particularly Waterside Cottages, Maun Lodge and Goo Moremi Gorge Resort, which were all secured by KBS. It was a trip of a lifetime.

This is a reliable, experienced and professional company that delivers. All of which is what you really want when planning ahead. Our contact with Maria in planning was great, while the guide themselves was attentive and experienced. They go to great lengths to cater for things like dietary requirements and/or allergies which was important for us. We only did a 2 day tour of the Okavango and did the rest of Botswana by ourselves as we are based in the region, but for those visiting from afar this would be a company I'd recommend without hesitation to do a longer tour with. For the Okavango and Moremi in particular they are fantastic,

I cannot recommend Kalahari Breeze enough. From the moment we started planning our trip, our contact Maria, was helpful, quick to respond and full of useful suggestions. We chose the camp Safari and it was amazing. We did safari camping before, but this one exceeded our expectations: the staff are all locals, with a deep knowledge of the territory and animals. The guides are a priceless source of information and they will make you understand the beauty of the nature. The crew at the camps will make you feel at home, making sure you well fed (thanks to our amazing cooks!!!!) and warmed, giving you warm water bottles at night and at sunrise and fresh drinks at sunset. I really hope to have the opportunity to travel again with them.

Overall, we were really impressed by Kalahari Breeze Safaris. We booked early so were able to fully tailor the trip, and found Maria really helpful in putting together an itinerary which we loved, providing lots of info and advice based on what we said we wanted to see. We joined together a 3-night camping trip in the Okavango Delta with a further 4 nights camping in Moremi and Savute, ending the trip in Chobe and Victoria Fall. We loved the wild camping and found it a highlight to sleep in remote locations amongst the wildlife. Although Maria stressed it was not a luxury safari, it was certainly not a budget experience, with nice large tents, comfy camp beds, ‘en suite’ toilets and good, filling food 3 times a day cooked on the campsite fire, or in an adapted oven buried in the ground. The food was really good – and they had no issues with providing gluten-free alternatives for my wife throughout the trip. We had two guides during the trip – Master in Okavango and Clifford in Moremi/Savute. We found both to be excellent and really friendly – we loved listening to their stories around the campfire at the end of the day. Both guides were local to the area we visited with them and their knowledge of the area and the behaviour of the animals really added to the trip. We couldn’t complain about the animal sightings, including a couple of close encounters with Leopards, a pride of Lions fighting over a recent buffalo kill, and a rare sighting of a Brown Hyena. We found the lodges in between the camping trips to be of good quality and very comfortable. The final part of the trip in Zimbabwe was handed over to a local tour company and they provided equally good service. In particular, we found our guide who took us around Victoria Falls park to be really friendly, and knowledgeable which helped make that part of the trip really memorable. The lodge in Zimbabwe was the best of the trip. We booked from the UK but picked a local safari firm as we believe it is better to contribute to the local economy, rather than go through a third party. We are really glad we did as they were helpful throughout – answering my many questions before we left, providing a lot of guidance throughout the booking process and when we arrived in Botswana. Botswana itself is a lovely country with very friendly people, loads of wildlife and stunning scenery. We will definitely we going back, and will not hesitate in using Kalahari Breeze again.

We did a wonderful family vacation in Botswana organized through Kalahari Breeze. They were warm, knowledgeable, extremely attentive to our needs and wishes, and helped us to plan and arrange a customized tour touching all spots that we wanted to visit, including Okavango, Moremi, Chobe and Victoria Falls (via Makgadikgadi salt pans). Traveling with two small children, we needed a trip that was not only exciting but also comfortable and manageable for little ones—and Kalahari Breeze got it done! Special thanks to Maria (and Chris) for all the care and effort they have put in to make our tour as smooth and enjoyable as possible. They also have a group of excellent crew/guides (a shout out to Thata and Chanda!) who made the safaris a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. If you're thinking of a trip to Botswana, we can’t recommend Kalahari Breeze highly enough!

We did the mokoro and hiking in the moremi game reserve during the morning, after that went on a long game drive to our camping in the bushes. The day after we carry on with a second game drive. All meals included. This is what we did, but now comes the experience. We were accompanied the whole time by a local guide that has an infinite experience on wildlife and game driving. He was able to understand all the hints that lead to the different animals like tracking footprints, understand the meaning of gruntings and handle any situation with wildlife and transmitting a sense of safety that was necessary when facing the strongest animals. He is passionate with his job and the best guide I could imagine. He works with a team of local people that belongs to the Moremi community that are great professionals. The mokoro guys were exceptional, driving us through hippos in a safe way and explaining all things about animals during the hiking. And the staff from the campsite was very nice, they received us with a great smile and help us to feel really comfortable. The chef was able to prepare great meals in a bush camp, making us enjoy as if we were in a restaurant. We saw all expected wildlife in terribly beautiful manners, without any doubt I would recommend to choose activities with Kalahari Breeze.
