Kadhai Indian Restaurant Hanoi

We had in Kadhai our all meals during stay in hanoi old quarter... they are the best.. food quality and quantity both are good .. service staff are so fast and friendly.. helpful nature all staff... we eat both veg and non veg all food give us a real indian taste ... I recommend Kadhai for best north indian and south indian food . Great service by rahul , arun , Ayaan. Thank you Kadhai indian restaurant .

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and a special thanks to the chef for thoughtfully preparing dishes exactly to our taste — gluten-free and with reduced spice, without compromising on flavor at all. A big shout-out to Ayan for his exceptional service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. His recommendations and care truly elevated the whole dining experience. Great food, outstanding service, and genuine attention to customer preferences. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious! And it was just walking distance from the place where I was staying. The owner couldn't really speak English but he was very patient with us and tried to explain things as best as he could. It was precious. May the place be filled with happy customers all the time

Just like in Vietnam, I noticed many fake reviews for this restaurant as well. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The air conditioning was very poor, which made it uncomfortable in the hot August weather. I ordered two types of chicken (tandoori and malai) along with aloo paratha, but all of them were subpar. Honestly, there wasn’t anything positive about this place.

I was in Hanoi for a week, tried multiple Indian restaurants but Kadhai is the best. I went 4 times there and the food was amazing every time. Must try Dal Makhani, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan

I’m writing this review before we’ve even finished the meal because it is so glorious, I need to write it down! Everything was so incredibly tasty; we’re not ashamed to admit it’s actually been the favourite meal of our trip. We hadn’t planned to come to the restaurant, but whilst walking by, the beautiful aromas billowing out into the street stopped us all in our tracks, and we’re so glad they did.! Special mention to the butter chicken, which was otherworldly! And the garlic naan. Delicious. Great service, too. Thank you :)

All I can say is... A-mazing!!!!! We ordered mild butter chicken and rice, with garlic and cheese naan. Everything tasted perfect! 10/10 recommend when visiting Vietnam.

So friendly, so delicious... great value for your money! They toned down the spices too. When in Janoi again, we will be back! Thank you!

My boyfriend and I are at Kadhai Indian Restaurant in Hanoi today. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the very beginning – a great service! But when we got our food, we were absolutely blown away. Neither of us has ever had Indian food this good! You have to visit this restaurant if you’re in Hanoi!

Since, our hotel had a check-in time of 2pm and we landed early and had a lot of time to kill, we decided to go to Kadhai and have our breakfast, which turned out to be a great experience. The paranthas were tasty and the coffee was great. Price-wise, I felt it was a little on the higher side, but atleast, they served us good breakfast and great coffee.
