K9 Control Training

Denver & Butterball had a great time with Jaylin and Charles over the weekend. They sent videos of the boys playing outside in the backyard and said they were well behaved. I love how they are so interactive with the dogs and they are so nice. They are great at what they do. We will definitely be taking the boys back when we have to be away from home again.

Couldn't be happier with the K9 Control Team! Joe made us feel so comfortable and safe leaving our dog with them. They were very communicative through the 4 week program. Hannah who trained our dog Rocket was wonderful! Definitely recommend K9 Control.

I had my German shepherd trained here for anxiety, she use to whine all the time, pull on the leash and bark like crazy! Now she is calm, walks beside me without a leash and barely barks unless some comes into our yard. The staff was amazing and always keep me up to date on everything. You can tell they love dogs!!!! Also twice we got snowed in and the owner literally slept at the facility to make sure the dogs were ok! The best part is my Lucy still has that playful side to her and plays with our other dogs! Also the give very detailed instructions on how to keep up their training at home!!!!

When we brought our puppy home from K9 Control it was like we were living in an alternate dimension... I expected the chaos of a puppy, 4 year old, and elderly dog to pick right back up where we left it but it did not. Our 9 mo. old GSP mix came home trained, calm, and ready to listen. I didn't know you could put a dog in "place" on their bed and be able to feed the kiddo and other dog without the puppy trying to steal everyone's food or having to put her in her kennel. Does she test her limits daily? Yes. Do we have to practice everything daily? Yes. But that's to be expected. The e-collar is amazing, not harmful, and I feel confident that I always have control of our dog. 4 weeks without her sucked and we missed her terribly but it was worth it and I understand why they do 4 weeks instead of 2 or 3. Joe the owner was super responsive and communicative on how it all worked. Hannah P was her trainer and she did an amazing job. We ended up going with K9 over others because of recommendations and because they also offer ongoing trainings for free and they do overnight boarding for dogs that "graduate". It's awesome to know they'll practice those skills with our pup when we go away on vacation and we'll come home to a better behaved dog!

This family is nothing short of amazing ! I knew I had a great Pup the day I met him. However, Owen, his family and his staff have transformed my " great " pup into an outstanding service animal ! I was completely overwhelmed with the results of his training with Owen and his team. I also want to mention, they didn't just train my pup to be the best he could be for me. They also trained me to be the best I could be for him. My heart is so full and I am overflowing with Gratitude for the entire K-9 Control Training Team. Thank you for all you have done for both myself and Ryder....

We had our 9 month old mini goldendoodle go through the training program at K9 Control Training. Before taking him, he would not come when called and did not listen to my husband or I. After training, he is a brand new puppy! He now heels on leash, can walk off leash, listens to commands and obeys hand signals as well, and knows when to play vs when to be calm. We could not thank K9 Control Training enough for the incredible work they did with our boy!

I thought I was going to have bring Ethan back to the shelter. He was so aggressive with my cats. Andre trained him, even came out to the house once. Best thing Andre said to me is "trust him". We let Ethan off the leash and he ignored the cats because we said no. He stayed on the property because we said no. Ethan is the best dog. I thought it was so expensive, but now I'll never adopt another dog that DOESN'T spend a month with these wonderful trainers. It is so worth it to have a great relationship with your dog.

They've given us the ability to communicate with and understand our puppy and saved our relationship with our first dog. Best decision we ever made. Our golden retriever mix is a huge ball of energy and was getting impossible to handle in an apartment setting, we decided to make the investment because they had such great recommendations. Our pup stayed a full month and came home equipped with everything he needed for success. We continue to train at home daily so he doesn't lose the skills he learned with his favorite trainer Allie. He's not perfect (he's just a high energy dog all around and still a puppy) but we have seen a huge improvement and we can't get over how amazing they are as a support system.

K9 Control Training is 100% worth it! Stasia did an amazing job with my golden puppy Bo and I could not have asked for a better trainer. Bo is happy and living life to the fullest because we can take him anywhere and be assured that he will listen to us. He loves to be off leash more than anything during walks and at the beach and his recall is amazing. People always seem so surprised to see him so well trained because golden's tend to be on the more crazy side. Stasia was so wonderful when we went to pick up Bo and thoroughly explained everything we needed to know before we left with him. She also has checked up on how he was doing a couple of times and is always happy to help in any way possible. I highly recommend K9 control for your pups training needs.

We heard about K9 Control through a family friend and hands-down, these are the best of the best! Our rescued pup, Cupcake, had high anxiety, a new name, new home and was as close to a wild dog as they come. We tried a few trainers in LA and felt they were amateur and the training wasn’t sticking. We took the long trip to Charleston and I’m so thankful we did. After multiple weeks of training, Cupcake is like a new dog. She follows commands, is friendly with other dogs, and we no longer have to worry about leaving her alone in the house. Owen & team are pros and gave us all the training materials we needed to keep her happy, healthy and obedient. Can’t say enough good things but if you’re looking for training / boarding - call K9 control!
