K&B Lawn and landscaping

Byron and his crew transformed our property and made it look like an oasis. This is the second home we have used Byron and his team. They did our landscaping, added an entire area of sod, rerouted our irrigation, and removed a brick patio and replaced with pavers. It looks AMAZING! His crew worked hard every day, they finished this huge project in the time frame that was stated and left our property clean every afternoon. Their price was very fair and the quality of work was exceptional. I highly recommend K&B Lawn and Landscaping.

Do not use this company. Worst service ever experienced. Armando, landscaper from K&B landscaping was extremely rude after he left our gate open and out our 4 family pets out. My husband who speaks fluent Spanish asked him and the other landscaper to help us get the 4 pets that escaped when they chose to leave the gate open they entered. They refused. They should never enter anyone's property without shutting the gate for the safety of our pets. It has taken and hour and have found 3 of our 4 pets. The fourth one is still missing. This is not acceptable or ok. How this business fails it's customers? Lack of respect for personal property and pets, failing to shut the gate they entered, failure to recognize that as a problem even when confronted, the refusal to help get our dogs after they let them out, and the rude behavior exhibited during the interaction was unacceptable. Do NOT use this company unless you like damage to your property or safety of your pets/children. We will be following up on this issue with this company.

Exceptional service and work product. I truly appreciate the thoughtful, respectful and responsive efforts by Mr Matthews and his crew. I highly recommend K&B. Our lawn and landscape is absolutely beautiful.

My parents got a wall built is February of 2023 and a year later after spending 15,000 the walls collapsed. My parents have reached out to try and get them to just to come look at it and fix it and no one will return their calls. Photos of the collapsed wall below. They just want it fixed. And now after saying they would fix it just decline our calls.

K&B are the go to landscaping. They are professional, punctual and priced right. Even with my last minute decision to add an irrigation system after the work started, Byron was helpful and accommodating.

K&B is the best team to use for landscape design you can find in Jacksonville. They are responsive and take the time to listen to what you want. I wanted to install fake turf for my small lawn so that my dogs wouldn't continue to rip up the sod. K&B was one of the only companies in Jacksonville who will install fake turf, and the other quotes I received were $10K more then the complete job with K&B -- and that was the quote for *only* the turf install. K&B transformed my yard from what looked like a dirt patch and weeds to a beautifully landscaped backyard oasis that now I can enjoy as well-- and they did so in a matter of only a couple of days. It was incredible! I also wanted to replace my mulch with marble chips or light rock, and K&B gave me a quote on two different colors. The materials they ordered were top of the line, ensuring that my yard would hold up to the wear and tear of my animals. They also went above and beyond to ensure the yard drained correctly. The quality of their work and having the opportunity to work with this lovely company is why I personally recommend them to my friends and family, not only for maintenance but for projects as well.

I hired them to fill the beds in my vegetable garden and to put the mch around the house. The soil that they sold me was of excellent quality, as was the mch. The people who did the work were friendly, efficient and fast...they left everything clean when finished. Mr. Byron was very kind too... very happy with the job, I highly recommend them

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Who does bad work then the owner does not call to fix? Yet she’ll go on Google reviews and have people send fake reviews to counteract my negative review? Who post reviews at night on Easter Sunday about grass unless it’s a disgruntled customer? Check out the times posted. You’ll see our negative review with real pictures. No comment from the owner. Then an hour later you will see positive reviews without pics and comments from the owner. Sounds fake to me. Then they claim my neighbors reviews are fake. They see the poor work daily. Trust me it is not fake. Just like their reviews are not fake. People use IP blockers for location too. We just wanted our sod to be laid properly and it is still dying and not connecting after 30 days. I will post a picture of our yard daily with one star until they call me and this is resolved. DO NOT USE THESE LAWN SERVICES!!! This was by far the worst experience I found online. I hired them to install new sprinklers, relevel ground, and new sod. The sprinklers are crisscrossing and in couple of instances they installed two sprinklers next to each other. There are at least three different spots of grass not being covered at all but my fence and most of the water is sprayed beyond my fence and over my house. The sod lasted, I kid you not, less than a week. It turned brown instantly. They kept telling me they will replace any bad grass, until I paid them, which they asked me to do ahead of time so they can pay their employees. As soon as I paid them, they disappeared. My grass is still brown and muddy and it's actually much worse than I had it to begin with. If you feel compeled to use them, wait a month after to pay them, because you will start noticing how badly things were done.

OMG!!!! There are so many Great words that we have for K&B Lawn and Landscaping. We needed to have sod installed for the 3rd time in years. The dreaded HOA notice came and I began doing online research. I found K&B. Byron responded IMMEDIATELY the next morning. He came out to give us an estimate. He was professional and very knowledgeable . He showed us where we had nothing but sand (because you know home builders strip away and haul off all of the good soil leaving you with sand). I told him that I don't want to have to re-sod voer and over and over again. He promptly sent an estimate via text. With Byron's knowledge and guidance, he ended up installing a layer of topsoil and muck based St. Augustine sod. During the installation, he noticed that we had a sago palm that was dying, so he removed that for us as well. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to work with someone who is there for you to help you make the best knowledgeable decision. You can not go wrong with Byron and K&B Lawn and Landscaping. I would give 10 stars for each category if I could.
