Mr. Fernando Aguilar arrived on time. Discussed with me first about the drywall repair project. He did a great job. The edges were aligned nicely and the connections were seamless. The fixed drywall was smooth and uniformly painted. It was hard to tell where it was fixed. He also painted the other two side walls, so the whole area looked new.. It is also worthy of mentioning that Your reception representative was a gracious person and Josh Metz quickly accommodated my request for estimation during the severe snow storm. I could not believe that the project was not delayed due to the snow and completed as planned. thank you JW Home improvement!

I requested a small drywall repair in the garage, a kitchen faucet replacement, and securing my closet rack. The estimate was for 4 hours and around 600. I was told to purchase my supplies and they gave me a list. They also told me to purchase the faucet I wanted but failed to tell us we needed to be sure the faucet had a particular type of connector for the valve. I had a stressful time trying to find all the drywall supplies but I managed to get what was needed after much frustration. When the repair man arrived he also had bought the supplies because he was told to so there must have been some miscommunication. As a result I had to go back to home depot to return most of the supplies except the drywall. The repairman said he had to go to pick up a new valve because the new faucet wasn't compatible with the old valve and the estimator never mentioned we had to get a specific faucet to connect to the old valve. So the 4 hour job ended up being 7 hours and cost me over 1k. The person who did my repairs did a decent job and was pleasant so that is why I gave 3 stars but I will not recommend the company due to the other issues I encountered. They also didn't bill me the remaining $733 dollars until almost 2 months later!

JW Home improvement has done various projects for us. We have always found this company to be prompt, efficient and economical. Our last project involved solving some complex issues and JW was up to the task. The team finished each project with attention to detail.

We had our small laundry room remodeled. They replaced the florescent light bulb with LED lights and all new ceiling tiles, painted the walls, and installed new flooring. They provided an estimate the clearly outlined the work to be performed. The two workers showed up on time and asked questions as the work was being performed to make sure I would be happy with the results. It took only two days and the laundry room looks better than I anticipated. Everything was cleaned up and disposed of. They did the work as requested and did not try to push us into a more expensive job - e.g. paint existing walls rather than replacing with dry wall. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again on future projects.

These guys are the best, as good a service experience as I've had, in any field. I met Josh, the estimator, who came first to assess our problem--water damage to a front window that matches another window that wasn't damaged. He immediately saw the problem, explained how it happened, and described what needed to be done. He gave a fair estimate with a wide range, explaining that until they took things apart, they wouldn't know exactly what the cost would be. The work was done by Denis and Pedro, who were just as knowledgeable and skilled as Josh. Although they were on an hourly rate, they were hustling, hustling the whole time they were working. They came in at the low end of the estimate I was given, avoided having to remove our whole window, and leaving it still matching the other undamaged window. That was surprising to all, it didn't seem like that would be possible. By the way, we got a few estimates for this work, some were not interested because it was too difficult and uncertain, and another gave us a ridiculous estimate WAY higher than JW's high end estimate (and again, JW wound up at the low end of their estimate). Talk to these guys whenever you need some work done, they are great!!

JW started off doing smaller projects for me and they were great. However, when I got a larger and more expensive project, it wasn’t worth what I paid. The work was guaranteed. Even the guarantee work wasn’t done to my satisfaction. So for the remainder of my projects, I will have to sort some other, home improvement company. I learned a valuable lesson and would do things differently the next project. In addition, no one from the company ever called to see if you were satisfied with the work they did. They need a checklist and provide that to the customer to fill out and send back. You can’t improve what you don’t know., if you want, repeat customers, you have to take care of the ones that you have they will come back and they will recommend others. How would no longer do either, I do wish you well.

JW was very friendly and helpful when he came to give the estimate! Marcos did an outstanding job with all the improvements and repairs he completed! I highly recommend using JW Home Improvement, and I would use them again!

I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the commitment to delivering exemplary service. As an example, I was having a bathroom tub re-caulked. After they did it, the technician (Ben) said he didn't think the color of the standard caulk looked good, he checked in with me about it, and redid it the next day. One aspect of the project also ended up taking longer than expected and they couldn't get it done in the projected timeframe, but Ben and Marcos made sure that they were there first thing the following day to make sure it got done and I didn't have to wait weeks to get back on the schedule. They also said at the beginning that they'll leave everything as clean a they found it. I've heard that from contractors before, but this was the first time it was actually true! I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the work.

I requested an estimate for multiple small projects with a couple of mid-sized projects. After being charged $50 for the estimate, I asked to have the estimate broken down for a cost/time for each project so I could choose based on that. They REFUSED. Said it is not in their policy, simply to give a broad review and price. I told them I couldn't proceed without this and it's the last I heard from them. That tells me all I need to know about their honesty and the likelihood that they're not upfront with their customers. Use them at your own risk.

Chris Brown and Cesar Diaz were hired to do a number of different repair tasks from testing and replacing outlets and switches to repairing the railing system on our deck. They were prompt, professional and efficient. When Chris realized that the railing required brackets, he went out and procured them so he could complete the job. Caesar did an excellent job on our siding and other work. They made sure everything was working properly and cleaned up all work areas before leaving.
