As many of us here in Sonoma County experience the possible power outage at our homes we would like to offer a tip to hopefully make living without power a tad bit easier.
Many homeowners in our community are on a private well, when the power is off so is our water pumps creating us to live without water and the worse, stopping toilets to function. It's a great idea to fill a tub with water before a planned power outage so that you have water you can scoop from the tub and place into the toilet tank so you have a fully functioning toilet.
This is advice that we personally use in our home and has saved us in the past!
