Start Your Open Water Diver Course with Jupiter Dive Center.
Learning to scuba dive starts in your own home with an SDI eLearning certification. Once you've finished about 8 hours of academic coursework, you will meet with an instructor. Typically, you start in a pool or other “confined water” location and learn basic skills.
From there, the exciting part begins. Class moves to the ocean where you will complete 4 open water dives. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be certified as an Open Water or Junior Open Water Scuba Diver depending on your age.
