Terrible customer service !!!!
I have used these juicEbitz cables over the past few years and was using my 3rd cable as the other two had failed before reaching 2.5 years old.
The final one could have caused a fire in my family home. I contacted the company only to be insulted and told I was using this cable incorrectly and this is why it has occurred. This cable is still as new, owing to how fastidious I am as a person at taking care of my possessions.

In the past when I have contacted them through EBay and it was always my fault. The previous cables failed at the same end ,the outer cover would come away from the connector where you put the cable into the phone charge point.
I am a domestic appliance engineer, so I completely aware of how this could have gone on fire also the fact I used it on a wooden bedside drawer unit.
It is the customers responsibility to regularly check cables and adapters for wear and tear. These are commodity items and should be checked at regular intervals.
The issue you have developed here is from continually puling on the cable wire to remove and not gripping from the connector, this is the only reason why this has happened.
Don't do that, and remove them properly and as printed on all our packaging - the same as hundreds of other brands also stipulate on theirs, and this will not happen to you.
If a cable develops a fault, gets damaged or has outlived is lifespan, then it should not be used to the point of total failure as this alone is a risk and should be disposed of recycled if possible as soon as you notice it; whereby regular inspection will pick up on this. This is also stipulated very clearly within our terms and conditions of sale.
