Jrock Tows It

Very happy with this service. I got stuck in a tight spot with what I thought was impossible to get my truck out of. The guy that helped me was super knowledgeable and fast. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

I feel compelled to leave this review following the experience my wife and I had with Jrock. Following a debacle with a lost key card for a rented Tesla, Avis sent for a tow truck. Jrock was the only one available at this time of night (21:00), and the response time of about an hour was to be expected. Jrock showed up and promptly prepared the vehicle for towing, and notified us that he would take us in to town so we could Uber back to our hotel, as apparently the vehicle was being towed to their storage facility, not back to Avis, as we had anticipated. If that had been the end of the experience, this would be an easy 5 star review. On the drive into town, the driver made several statements about Hawaiian natives and their rights to the land that my wife and I found quite offensive and racist in nature. When we finally did return to our hotel, my wife put together a 1-star review on Google and outlined our issues with the driver's comments. The following morning, the owner/driver called us, demanding we take down the negative review. He claimed that none of that happened, that there was audio and video recordings of the interaction, and that we needed "serious help". When my wife attempted to discuss this with him, he swore at her, and proceeded to hang up while my wife was talking. As someone who routinely fields complaints about business staff, I found the demeanor and disregard of our concerns highly disrespectful. Regardless of personal beliefs on whether the statements made were racist or not, it was offensive to us, the customer, and a failure to recognize that or apologize in any way, shape, or form was demonstrative of ineptitude in managing a business and poor customer service of the most fundamental nature. I believe, as my wife's review is not active, that Jrock is fighting to erase it from this platform, and will likely attempt the same with my own. It is for this reason that I submit this 1-star review for your consideration. The quality of the tow met expectation, the blatant disregard and disrespect for the customer is deplorable. It is therefore my firm recommendation that you seek business elsewhere.
