John and his team took on a very tricky job and absolutely delivered. I had nine 50ft trees, that had been left in a terrible state by a previous company, and I needed them removed quickly and safely. One tree was tangled around a utility pole with multiple wires running through, others were overhanging a shed and a brand new extension and roof. It wasn’t an easy job! I had multiple quotes from other companies (some turned down the job as too complex) to make sure I had the right person. John took me through the entire process, pointed out all the concerns and how he would address them and gave me a breakdown of his costs and quote there and then. Fully transparent and honest, which I really appreciated given my past experience. The team turned up first thing on the Wednesday and spent the next few days methodically and carefully cutting down all the trees. They were all so polite and professional. All debris that needed to fall into the neighbouring gardens was taken away and no evidence of the trees remain except the stumps. He also did another six trees and shrubs at the front of my driveway within a few hours. I’m blown away and so thankful to John and his team for the work they did. They’ve given me back my garden (it was unsafe with the state of the trees before). I’ve already got a project list ready and waiting for them to landscape and plant some more trees for me. I thoroughly recommend JR Tree & Landscapes. They were fantastic and have restored my faith in Tree Surgeons!

Contacted John for tree and bush removals. He arrived within the hour to quote a price for me and he agreed to do the work next day. John phoned me to notify me that as his website was quoting a 20% discount offer on new work that he would honour that discount and took it off the previously agreed price. The work was carried out quickly and completed as agreed. Would recommend John to anyone.

JR Tree & Landscape did an excellent job of widening our mono block driveway. The workers also accomadated small changes without hesitation. Materials and tools were left neat and tidy when the job carried over to a second day and the price was very competitive. Overall, great job, great price, great workmanship.

Very disappointing experience. We agreed on a price of £250 for a specific job, but he failed to complete what was discussed. Instead of sticking to the plan or checking with me, he took it upon himself to do what he thought was right. He then invoiced me £150 for a job that wasn’t even worth that. Despite the poor quality of the work, I still paid him £100 out of goodwill — even though it wasn’t worth £50. He then threatened to return all the rubbish to my property if I didn’t pay the full £150, and followed through on that threat, even though I had already paid him. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and difficult to deal with. I have photos and CCTV evidence showing that he did not carry out the job as agreed. I even told him I was happy to pay the full £250 if he simply did the job properly. Avoid at all costs.

Can't thank John enough for the fantastic job he did removing 3 very large conifers from my garden. From the initial quote to the completion of the job he was friendly and professional throughout. I'm so happy considering the size and location of the trees made it very difficult. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for future work.

John, arrived when he said he would, carried out the works (reducing the height and tidying a very tall hedge line) as per the quote to a very good standard, with no fuss. He was continually checking that i was happy with the works at each stage. I would definitely recommend his services and will be using him in the future.

Employed John to remove a large tree and waste. Turned up when he said he would and removed the tree/waste in a professional manner. Reliable, trustworthy, professional, competent, with fair rates. Will be using his services in future. Highly recommended.

I asked John to give me a quote for tree pruning. The cost was very competitive so I booked him to do the job. Great communication from John, he had to cancel because of heavy rain but rescheduled for next day when the work was done to a high standard. John is very knowledgeable and was able to advise me about my trees, a pleasant young man who I will certainly book for further help with my trees.
