Extension leads
Extension leads are sometimes unavoidable due to a lack of socket outlets so when using them ensure you aware of the following dangers.
- check the cable to make sure it is not damaged by being walked on or continually bent at the same point.
- Make sure they are not a trip hazard or tangled on the floor.
-Try not to overuse multi adapters as it can increase the risk of fire.
- If you are using a cable drum extension lead make sure it is completely unwound to avoid overheating.
