I must agree with customer Brittany Brown. I have been a loyal customer from day one. I waited through the walkout of the original staff last year, dealt with the temporary closure that lasted for months, and remained faithful to this business without going anywhere else. The work used to be excellent. However, since reopening with new staff and a busier operation, the quality is no longer the same. On my last visit, I brought three skirts and two pairs of wide‑leg white denim. Every single item had to be redone. And when I finally got them back, one pair — brand‑new Hudson Jodie Frayed Seam Loose Wide Leg jeans ($225) — was ruined. When I dropped them off, I specifically requested the original hem, which is clearly advertised on the display sign. Once hemmed, the jeans should look exactly as they did before being touched. Instead, I received a 2‑inch hem. John assured me he would fix it. What I received back was cut denim with a fringe hem that pulls, frays, and looks worse after every wash. I now have to trim strings with scissors before I can even wear them. And sadly, nothing can be done—no type of hem because they will be too short. I was so disappointed I couldn’t even voice how upset I was. After trying on the three skirts, only one was done correctly. Clothing is expensive, and having items damaged is unacceptable. Now I’m stuck with ruined pieces that cannot be replaced. At this point, I no longer trust the quality of the work, and I am moving on. Get it right the first time.

Joseph’s Tailoring is hands down my go-to every time. They do a phenomenal job—consistently. The staff is always friendly and professional, and what really stands out is that they greet me by name every time I walk in. That level of personal service is rare. The quality of their alterations is excellent, everything is done to perfection. On top of that, their pricing is very reasonable, and they always have my items ready on time or even sooner. Ive been a loyal customer because the workmanship is usually strong and the staff is courteous, even with premium pricing. But since they’ve gotten busier, the service feels less attentive to long-time clients. I had a zipper replaced and later had the same issue. When i originally got the zipper replaced, I thought it was pretty expensive, but felt satisfied that when I was ready to wear the garment again, it would be ready to wear. I went to try the garment on today while packing and the “replaced zipper” pulled in the exact same place as it did previously. I had my doubts that the zipper was actually replaced originally, and they found a way to repair it and pull a fast one on me, I was proven correct when this happened today. I was told there was a long-term guarantee, but when I returned, I was told the warranty was only one month and was asked to pay again. Despite my history with the shop (the owner pulled my history while I was there and I actually have times in progress currently), including during staffing issues, no goodwill or compromise was offered. That was disappointing and felt dismissive. This is not something I’d make up as a loyal customer. The owner knows he’s had much staff turnover and there was a chance I could’ve been given misinformation. He didn’t care didn’t make eye contact and looked passed me into the parking lot as we were talking.

They are very nice and accommodating. But the service is expensive and the hems they have done for me keep falling. If I take them back they will fix it for free but this was a third time that happened and I don’t have time to keep fixing this. This is unfortunate since I like them personally but I hem most of my pants bc I am short and I never had these continuous issues.

I loved everything about my experience with this shop. I had been turned down by two other businesses but not this one. They did an amazing job on my dress and service was quick. Big thank you to the team.

This place was super nice. I came last minute to get help with a cavas tote bag. The ladies upfront were so helpful and patient with me. I made a mistake on telling them how to alter my bag so I came back the next day and they helped me out with no issues! I will be returning.

I needed a dress altered quickly for an anniversary celebration. Joseph's was the only one to answer my calls and tell me they could get me in same day! They had my dress fitted and ready in less than a week! Truly life savers 💗💗💗

I took an old wool hat in to see if it could be salvaged for sentimental reasons. Not only were the staff incredibly kind and attentive, but they finished the repair the same day for a reasonable price! Would definitely recommend. 🙂
