Ive been a loyal customer because the workmanship is usually strong and the staff is courteous, even with premium pricing. But since they’ve gotten busier, the service feels less attentive to long-time clients. I had a zipper replaced and later had the same issue. When i originally got the zipper replaced, I thought it was pretty expensive, but felt satisfied that when I was ready to wear the garment again, it would be ready to wear. I went to try the garment on today while packing and the “replaced zipper” pulled in the exact same place as it did previously. I had my doubts that the zipper was actually replaced originally, and they found a way to repair it and pull a fast one on me, I was proven correct when this happened today. I was told there was a long-term guarantee, but when I returned, I was told the warranty was only one month and was asked to pay again. Despite my history with the shop (the owner pulled my history while I was there and I actually have times in progress currently), including during staffing issues, no goodwill or compromise was offered. That was disappointing and felt dismissive. This is not something I’d make up as a loyal customer.
The owner knows he’s had much staff turnover and there was a chance I could’ve been given misinformation. He didn’t care didn’t make eye contact and looked passed me into the parking lot as we were talking.
