Outstanding plumbing service! David Lawrence handled everything with skill, speed, and a smile. Brad Skotak came in, assessed the problem, and provided a clear estimate, but it was David who truly delivered. He quickly and efficiently fixed my leaking shower and expertly replaced the tub and shower valve. Both were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the process, but David handled every detail with care and always with a friendly, positive attitude. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend David, Brad, and John Moore Services for any plumbing needs. Thank you both for an exceptionally job well done!

So DISAPPOINTED! We saw a ceiling stain that appeared to be from a water leak from our upstairs master bath. We called John Moore plumbing to see if they could detect if there was an active leak that needed repair. The first plumber (there were multiple) came out and said that the only way he could do a true inspection was to cut the ceiling and make sure that the pipe above it was not still leaking. It made sense. He recommended a contractor to come out and cut the ceiling drywall and install a dryer to dry out the ceiling joist and the wood. After this, it took three separate plumbers to come out and do the inspection to see if the pipe in the ceiling was leaking from the shower or not. Thankfully, it was not. It appears that the shower drain was clogged and had overrun creating a small leak in the bathroom tile transition which resulted in the damp ceiling below. However, after the plumber inspected the pipe, we called the contractor to come fix our ceiling and replace the drywall. To our utter surprise we were told that they don’t do that! They told us to read the fine print in the contract, which says that they don’t do these repairs. Why in the world would someone cut open your ceiling and not expect to repair it?!! Why didn’t they say that BEFORE THEY CUT OPEN OUR CEILING?!! This was the service that was recommended by John Moore! When we contacted John Moore, they said it was not up to them to do anything. It was on the contractor that opened up the drywall. After $1900 we still have a hole in our ceiling and there was really no leak. The plumber said to use Drano once a month to keep the shower clear. Well thanks for that $1900 professional advice! I have never been so frustrated and disappointed, almost $2000 spent and a hole in our ceiling that still needs to be repaired, resulting in more money coming out of our pocket. And no one wants to take responsibility for this. Disappointing!! Since John Moore recommended this contractor they should stand behind the full repair or make the contractor come and repair our ceiling. Please beware and don’t get taken advantage of like we have.

Excellent Service from John Moore Plumbing I recently used John Moore Plumbing, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained the solution in clear terms, and completed the work efficiently. Brad was great. He arrived on time (8am-12pm) and was courteous, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Brad explained what I needed done and gave me 3 options for the work involved to make the repairs. He did not rush me to make a decision. I thought the quote was very high but I used John Moore because of the excellent jobs they had done on my home previously.

The service guy for John Moore, was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. In comparison to other companies their prices are a little higher. Yet, the quality of work is the overall goal of excellence. The technician Henry gave us his honey opinion about the needs our home requires.

Unfortunately, I hired John Moore to get me a permit for my portable generator. They were very prompt and getting the gas line installed. They provided me with a permit, which is what I hired them for unfortunately, when I went to go upgrade my meter through centerpoint they had no permit on file. Kahlil was amazing. Unfortunately, the people in the office kept trying to tell me that my permit was valid when I provided proof from the city and from the Inspector stating exactly what was wrong and why my permit was not valid. The original work was all done on October 28. It is now February 12 and I still do not have a proper permit. I called and spoke to six different people provided the documentation and they always said that they would get back to me, but I was the one that had to follow up with them. Each time a had to start with a new person and explain the permit situation. What I find most frustrating is that they have all these ads online about how they are a family run business and Don Valentine is there to help you. They would not allow me to talk to Don. I couldn’t even get a proper supervisor to follow up with me. Finally, Khalil came out yesterday redid a few things and I’m hoping we will pass inspection with this next permit. Update-i’m still waiting for my permit somebody came out on February 11 apparently redid something and I was supposed to have an inspector come and I still haven’t heard anything. I have talked to so many people at John Moore and I’m not sure why I keep on being blown off. Ironically, they keep on Sending me text and emails asking me to pay the second half of what I owe them. I just want the job completed.Kahlil was amazing it was the admin. I spoke to Dherain Rita hall Kalill Melissa Fred Shade David Bryce I still don’t have my permit. It’s now February 20 that is almost 4 months.

Felipe was great!! If you need an honest, personable, knowledgeable, efficient electrician, look no further!! Fixed same day! I'm so impressed with Felipe at John Moore from first contact to completion. I love to hear that John Moore is truly like a family. Thank you Felipe!

Justin was awesome! He was honest about the true pricing of the service. The person setting up appointments said the water heater flush was free to VIP members. But the tech gently let me know that the discount was really only $100 off of a $650 service per heater. (We have 2). He was personable and professional about it

Jose was absolutely amazing!! The exclusion process was smooth and easy starting with setting traps and sealing all entry points. He even came back out in short notice to collect any traps. I am highly satisfied with his service and impeccable communication. Always on time and professional. I would highly recommend!!

Victors quick response time and no BS approach was very appreciated. He explained everything in great detail with professionalism. He works clean and doesn’t tip toe around costs. We will be saving John Moore as our go to contact for any future plumbing needs.
