Up to $20,000 Toward Buying a Home
WHAT IT IS
A grant program offered through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati to help eligible homebuyers cover down payment and closing costs.
This is a grant. Not a monthly payment loan.
WHAT YOU CAN GET
• Up to $20,000 in grant funds
• Can be used for down payment, closing costs, or both
• Works with FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans
• Available to first-time and repeat homebuyers
WHO MAY QUALIFY
You may be eligible if:
• Household income (all adults living in the home) is within program limits
• You have a signed purchase contract
• You contribute at least $500 of your own funds
• First-time buyers complete a homebuyer education course
ELIGIBLE HOMES
• Primary residence only
• Single-family homes, condos, townhomes
• Duplexes and 1–4 unit properties
• Some manufactured homes may qualify
IMPORTANT RULE
5-YEAR RETENTION PERIOD
If the home is sold, refinanced, or transferred within five years, some or all of the grant may need to be repaid.
