🐱 Cat Stuck in a Tree? JL's Tree Service Offers Free Rescues — Fergus, Elora & Wellington County
If your cat is stuck in a tree, call us. We'll come out at no charge. In partnership with the Guelph Humane Society, JL's Tree Service has rescued over 80 cats from trees across Wellington County. Some animals have been stranded for up to seven days by the time we arrive. Using our specialised equipment and trained crew, every rescue is handled safely — for the animal and for the tree.
Here's what to expect when you call:
• No charge, ever — cat rescues are always free
• Specialised equipment and trained crew on every rescue
• Safe for the animal and safe for the tree
• We just ask for a Google review in return
It's a small thing to ask — but those reviews help the next homeowner with a dangerous tree find a company they can trust. And the rescues say something about who we are when nobody's paying us to show up.
The fire department stopped doing this decades ago. We never started charging for it in the first place. It's just part of how we operate — and always will be.
Serving Fergus, Elora, Guelph, Rockwood, Puslinch, and Wellington County.
