Shane from Jim’s Antennas Salisbury recently replaced an old analogue antenna with a new Australian Made digital VHF antenna to an existing Fascia mount and replaced the old cabling with new digital RG6Quadshield and compression connectors.
Older installed mounts generally are replaced for a better location, because over time, trees grow blocking signal, new housing developments can block signal, so locating the best possible signal on the roof is always a priority.
This mount was suitable to be reused in its current location as digital signals after testing with a test antenna and a digital meter, showed great levels for strength and quality.
Once the antenna and cabling was replaced, digital signals were restored resulting in beautiful clear picture on the TV.
