LTE (4G/5G) interference issues, have been affecting the picture quality of digital TV for a number of years.
Shane from Jim’s Antennas Salisbury was recently called in regarding pixelating and no signal issues. Once the initial testing and inspection of the current antenna system was carried out, signals in the area revealed higher LTE signal than the broadcasting signal resulting in interrupted digital pictures.
As the existing antenna was still an analogue antenna with no filtering and in a location that wasn’t getting the best signal readings, a new Tile Roof Mount and Australian made Digital antenna (with LTE filtering) was installed, resulting in premium picture quality without the breakup of digital signal.
