As of June 2025, Adelaide is seeing major improvements to internet connectivity through the NBN fibre upgrade. This initiative delivers faster, more reliable internet for homes and businesses across the city.

Key LGAs upgraded include:
• Port Adelaide Enfield – 38,730 premises
• Charles Sturt – 31,801
• Playford – 24,791
• Onkaparinga – 19,309
• Salisbury – 18,785
Suburbs earmarked for upgrades include Athelstone, Elizabeth Grove, Glen Osmond, Lockleys, Noarlunga Centre, Paradise, Underdale, and Virginia. More areas across SA are set to be completed by the end of 2025.

Visit the NBN rollout map to see if your address is eligible. If so:
1. Choose a high-speed plan (100 Mbps or higher) from your provider
2. Book your upgrade – NBN will handle the installation at your premises
