Shane from Jims Antennas Salisbury recently attended a customer’s house with reception issues, mainly when it rains.
The issue found, was old degraded cabling (not UV protected) that creates a short to the signal when it rains, resulting in pixelated, unwatchable tv viewing.
The antenna was an old analogue type that required replacing with new digital antenna along with UV protected, digital cabling.
Reception was restored, giving the best picture seen in a number of years.
