I visited Store #4124 on 5/18/25 for a routine oil change while working in between UBER rides. What I got instead was a complete headache and damage to my property.
Shortly after the service, I noticed large oil stains on my driveway and inside my garage. Even with rain, the stains didn’t wash away—and they’re still there. I later found out the drain plug was either missing or not properly secured, causing a slow oil leak.
I live in Round Rock so resolving this issue was a major inconvenience. I first tried going to the closer store in Round Rock but they were closed. I then went to the 620 location, where a technician confirmed the leak and told me the original shop (Store #4124) needed to fix it.
On 6/5/25, I had to take time off work (losing 3 hours of wages) and drive back to the original location. I asked for the manager when I arrived, but he didn’t bother to come out until after the technician finished the repair. His name is Jarred. Only then did he identify himself as the manager.
The technician confirmed a missing piece was not installed back during the service. . Jarred told me he'd “address the bad actor,” saying it happened on a Sunday and shouldn’t happen again. He then asked how he could fix the situation.
I asked for:
A full refund
Compensation or service to clean the oil stains at my home (I’ll be charged $100 per stain by my property manager)
Written assurance that my engine hasn’t been damaged and will be covered if issues come up later
Instead, I was told I needed the original card to process a refund. Unfortunately, I had lost my wallet and no longer have that card. Jarred said I’d need to come back again—another 3-hour round trip—to resolve their mistake. Totally unacceptable.
On top of all that, they didn’t even complete the basic services I paid for:
Wipers were never checked
Filters were not shown to me
Interior wasn’t vacuumed
Tires weren’t aired up (Discount Tire had to do it)
I wasn’t given my UBER driver discount—despite being a driver for both UBER and LYFT
This was my first time not going to the dealership—and it’ll be my last. I’m a single parent working two jobs. I can’t afford to lose income and vacation time fixing someone else’s careless mistake.
For a new store, this place already has serious quality and management issues. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer care is unacceptable. If you value your time, money, and vehicle, do not go to Store #4124. You’ll regret it.
