I called JDL HVAC Services late morning with a request for service at a house with no heat. Amber, their excellent contact person who schedules all appointments, was able to get a technician out by late afternoon. What a life-saver! The technician who came out, Jose, quickly diagnosed why our furnace wasn't working, fixed it and performed routine maintenance on the unit. He advised us on the formation of rust on the heating element and the problems that could cause in the future. He checked for carbon monoxide in the house. He communicated with me throughout the visit and quoted me a price for the work, which was very reasonable. He did an excellent job. I have worked with JDL several times in the past. They are polite, professional, always on time, and fix issues with just one visit. Their prices are very competitive. I 100% recommend their services!

Jose was fantastic both times he came to my house. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, clean, professional and answered any and all questions I had. Not only did he fix my problem but extended recommendations, maintenance and specific things to look for. A plus in my book for sure.

Jose Romero Velaquez was an excellent representative for your company. He was courteous, professional and efficient in his job. He explained everything thoroughly and showed me pictures of what needed to be done. In addition, he displayed concern and kindness to me, a handicapped elderly widow.

JDL was lovely to work with. The technician was honest, upfront, and explained every issue with my forced air/heat pump combination system AS he diagnosed things. He gave me feedback on different brands of systems and expected longevity and i ended up hiring them to replace both my upstairs unit and the heat pump that were misfiring constantly and ultimately not working.

My call was for a old broiler that is probably past its working date (30+yrs). Amber handled my call professionally and Chris the technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained what was going on in away that made sense. I am confident that I will continue to work with them on the near future.

I asked JDL to send over HVAC technicians on four occasions. The first request involved installing a digital thermostat to replace an analog thermostat that had been installed some years before I bought this condo unit. The technician arrived on time and competed the job very professionally. When, later the same day, it became clear that I didn't fully understand how the new thermostat worked, JDL promptly send another technician to check things out and go over proper operation of the thermostat. A few years later, when the HVAC system wasn't working properly, JDL sent a very experienced technician who carefully checked out the system and provided some much-needed maintenance. When, a few weeks later, a JDL technician concluded that the aged system was beyond repair, the technician, together with office staff, generated some options. JDL staff also discussed financing options and even put me in direct touch with one of their trusted lenders. Once I settled on a new system, JDL delivered the new system and two technicians spent an entire installing it. They were respectful in every way and before leaving verified that the system was operating and that I understood how to use it. They also removed all parts of the old unit and all the packaging associated with the new unit. I was and am completely satisfied with their service.

Is it inappropriate to ask a company about their corporate social responsibility? I asked a service representative at JDL HVAC and Plumbing to share with me two charities and community groups that they support, thus the claim on their website. I also asked if they would share the reason that they are not a BBB Accredited company. The response was surprising: "Unfortunately, we arent required nor interested to relay this sort of information."

I found my new HVAC/Plumbing referral! I needed a licensed professional to test the furnace inside a property I’m considering for an investment. I called JDL in the morning and by the evening, one of their senior technicians was there, giving me a thorough diagnostic evaluation of the unit. Ire was super nice, extremely knowledgeable and even pointed out problems he saw that weren’t directly related to the furnace. It was a very eye-opening inspection, and I am grateful for JDL’s quick response and excellent customer service. The fee they charged to come out was very reasonable, the communication was top-notch, and I was amazed by their flexibility to schedule the inspection. Clearly, I’m impressed, and will recommend JDL to friends and clients!

I had a leak in my furnace and needed help immediately. I found JDL through a Google search and decided to call them based on the great reviews and they did not disappoint. They were able to send someone out the same day, which was a huge relief. The technician, Ire, called ahead of time as expected and was very professional upon arrival. I don't know much about furnaces, but he took the time to explain everything he was doing and walked me through what had caused the leak. It turned out I needed a part replaced, which he handled on the spot. He even showed me how to use the new component and gave recommendations for other things that might need attention down the line. Ire answered all my questions, and by the end of the appointment, the leak was resolved. I also received a detailed email afterward with pictures and a summary of everything we discussed, which I really appreciated. On top of that, Ire followed up the next day to check in. This was a nice touch that shows they really care about their work. The service was excellent, and the price was actually lower than I expected. I’d definitely recommend JDL to others and will be using them again in the future.

Peak of the summer; 98 degrees, visitors are coming in 2 days and that’s when the AC decides to blow hot air. I quickly called JDL HVAC and Ire came over to save the situation. He could have easily recommended purchasing a new until. But no; he took his time, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, tested it, offered some advice and was on his way. I hope I don’t have to call them again for another 10 years, but if I do, I’ll ask for Ire. Good company
