I called Jackie & he came right away to give me an estimate. I was putting my deck thru insurance as a huge piece of ice crashed down and totally wrecked it. His estimate was very clear outlining what he was going to do. His estimate included 3 cheques for him. First cheque to start, 2nd for half way done and the 3rd when he was finished. He told me how long it would take and when he would be doing it. His word is outstanding! The quality of his work is top notch. He is very knowledgeable about what needs to be done and what products to use. He critiqued my old deck and said the new deck would be far better with proper support beams, etc. I would highly recommend this company for any of your building needs, deck, garage, shop, etc. It was a pleasure working with him - I am female and never once did I feel belittled about my lack of building knowledge. He spoke with words I fully understood and explained why he was doing it that way. 5* service!

I would definitely recommend JB Construction to anyone looking to have a new deck!! They completed the work ahead of schedule with top quality, reasonable price and regular friendly communication along the way! My lakeside deck needed to be renovated because the wood had rotten beyond repair. Jacek (Jack) came over to evaluate the options and made sure to keep anything that was still good, to keep the cost down! He was very open and took the time to explain the options and prices. He also recommended aluminum panels under the deck to ensure the water would slide off, which already helped reduce the basement humidity!! I went with composite boards and aluminum railings. Jacek reached out as they could start the work earlier than planned, completed the work within the estimated time and sent regular updates (as I was not on site)! Outstanding job!!
