I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the after-sales service provided by Japan Electronics.
A few months ago, I purchased a large number of AC units (almost 7) of different brands from your P.W.D. outlet. Over time, I have given Japan Electronics million of business. In addition to inverter AC units, I have also purchased several other electronic items, including electric geysers, microwaves, electric stoves, and more.
During the winter season, when I turned on one of the Kenwood inverter AC units, it failed to operate. As the unit was still under warranty, I immediately lodged a complaint with the retailer.
However, the response from your service team was extremely disappointing. The customer care representative was reluctant and unprofessional in handling the issue. I was wrongly informed that I would need to pay approximately PKR 8,000–10,000 to fix the problem, which is completely unacceptable for a product that is under warranty.
Furthermore, I was redirected to the installer, who demanded additional charges for dismantling and re-installation approximately PKR5000. This is unjustified, as the unit is covered under warranty and the manufacturing company itself did not require any payment. Despite this, representatives of Japan Electronics repeatedly insisted on charging me.
Such practices not only cause inconvenience to customers but also seriously tarnish the reputation of the Kenwood brand. Due to this experience, I intend to share my feedback directly on Kenwood’s official platform so they are aware that Japan Electronics is not acting as a sincere or professional vendor of their products.
I respectfully request the owner or senior management of Japan Electronics to review this matter personally and take appropriate action against the concerned staff.
