I got my engagement ring here almost two months ago, I was able to propose during an escape from a work trip from Salt Lake City to Point Dume in Malibu, CA. Jacob was there to help all the way through with incredible knowledge and experience to explain everything, help steer me in the right direction, and ultimately end up with a ring me and my new Fiancé are very happy to look at! The reviews made me choose him so it was only fair to leave my own (sorry for the delay!) Also I know Jacob enjoys golf too, and it’s past masters week by a long shot but maybe the Azalea themed nails can make him cheerful!

Wow! All I can say is WOW! Absolutely amazing work. I took my ring in to be fixed and cleaned after 24 years of wear and tear, and it looks incredible. Not only did it turn out beautifully, but the customer service exceeded all my expectations. Jacob and his team truly knocked it out of the park—and it didn’t break the bank! Highly, highly recommend!

I am so extremely thankful for Jacob and his crew of magic makers!🩷 My fiance purchased a ring and band from a different jeweler that produced an unsatisfactory result after soldering the pieces together. I came to Jacob’s business desperate for some fixing. They were extremely hospitable and accommodating while custom building my pieces back together, for a very fair price. Went here for an engagement ring and wedding bands for my wife and I. This place was awesome to us, especially Bill! Bill helped me through the process of customizing an engagement ring and later on helped my wife and I with our wedding bands. When they say you get what you pay for they mean it, they turned the inspiration I had for an engagement ring into a work of art in my opinion. I have and will continue to refer people here for the future!

Jacob and Jamie were incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish. I came in for a few things—first, to have my engagement ring resized—and they had it completed even earlier than expected. I also brought in some old gold jewelry that no longer served me, and they worked with me to trade pieces and even created a beautiful pair of earrings from an old ring. The store itself is very comfortable and welcoming, with a great selection of pieces to choose from. Exceptional customer service, knowledge, and craftsmanship all around. Highly recommend!

I brought in some loose diamonds that were from a ring my mother had. I wanted to make them into a 25th anniversary band for myself. I showed a picture of what I wanted and it was no problem. They sent me a 3-D rendition of exactly what I pictured. After the jeweler meticulously built and created my ring, I was able to pick it up and it is perfect. I am grateful for the craftsmanship that was put into this special heirloom. I highly recommend Jacob the Jeweler. They listen to their customers and take pride in their work. I had a very disappointing experience at this jeweler. I brought in a jade piece for evaluation and was told it was worthless and dyed. I later took the same piece to a specialist in Chinese jewelry, who confirmed it was not dyed and dated it to the Qing Dynasty. While I can forgive a misidentification—no one knows everything—the real issue was how we were treated. From the moment we arrived, the jeweler was dismissive and rude to both me and my husband. When I tried to explain that my husband’s grandmother told us the piece was acquired around 1920, he cut me off mid-sentence and said, “Yeah, I believe you, but I see the dye,” without allowing any conversation or context. I wasn’t trying to argue—I was simply sharing family history and respecting the stories passed down by our elders. What made this even more frustrating is that my second reason for visiting was to potentially purchase opal earrings priced around $11,000. However, once he decided the jade was “worthless,” it was very clear he no longer wanted to deal with us at all. The change in attitude was unmistakable. The entire experience felt like a classic case of judging a book by its cover—perhaps because we weren’t dressed a certain way. Regardless of the reason, customers deserve respect, especially when dealing with cultural artifacts and significant purchases. I chose to take my business elsewhere and would not recommend this shop based on the lack of professionalism alone.

I have been looking for over a year for a very specific and special piece of jewelry. I visited all the shops in Pawleys Island and Georgetown where they promised “to look” or only offered what they had available. A friend mentioned Jacob the Jeweler. Hailey and Jamie have been amazing throughout the entire process from beginning to end. They listened to what I was looking for and really took the time to research the item I wanted. I have always had a go to jeweler for repairs and purchases but bounced around close to home with mixed results since moving here. . I now feel like we have found that special place once again. I am confident they can fill all my repair and future purchase needs.i couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

This place is awesome! My husband got me a ring for our 30 year wedding and 36 years together anniversary. Bill was amazing to work with! He went over every detail about the ring and the meaning of the stones (this particular ring). The rest of the staff were amazing as well! Highly recommend and will go back again! Felt like family! I have a very expensive Mt Blanc pencil. Mt Blanc suggested repair and to send it to a jeweler in CA. I called a few jewelry stores near where I live and Jacob’s said to bring it in they would give it a try. They discovered a bur on the inside of the nib repaired it on the spot. Amazing customer service. Highly recommend!!!
