Ivy League Dog Training is great! I sent my 1 yr old golden retriever, Norman, to their 2 week bootcamp and am so excited about the progress that he made. Prior to training, you are asked what things you want your dog to be able to do. I requested the basics like walking on a leash without pulling, not jumping on people, etc. All of which we've seen significant improvement. I also wanted him to be able to be in family photos and get in the back seat of my SUV without assistance. They went above and beyond by having practice photo shoots and using staff vehicles to get him in and out of the car! I have some upcoming travels and Norman will be doing a refresher at Ivy League as long as I needed boarding during that time. Will definitely recommend to anyone seeking training!

New ownership as of A year or so ago and it is a very beautiful facility! Excellent experience! Their dog and puppy trainer Sheila is phenomenal! She took my 18 week old Goldendoodle puppy and taught her sit, stay, wait, come, place, leave it, down, off, heel, watch me & more in one week! Now we’re going to practice these things at home for a couple of weeks before we return for the two week puppy training class! I highly recommend!

Ivy League is great! We've been kenneling our dog there for the last year! We did obedience training when we first got our dog and now kennel here anytime we are out of town. We are always given a full report and know that our pup is in great knowledgeable hands! We recommend Ivy League to everyone we know.

We sent our Great Pyrenees mix here for her obedience training two years ago, and she, and we, learned so much. The team does a great job teaching you how to work with your dog after laying the foundations. We've continued to come back for boarding because our girl loves it when she gets to go to "camp." She always comes home so well behaved and I can tell they really care for her while she's here.

Karl was great to take time for a personal training visit. He was very intune and informative of the style and training our little dog needed. Knowing how to take training time to expose and have our dog learn how to handle situations. My wife and I are excited to teach and work with our children to help her learn to be more obedient. Highly recommend Ivy League.

I started taking Cisco my now almost 3 year old German Shorthair since he was a puppy. Carl has gone above and beyond with him and always ensured that Cisco's has been well cared for and progressed with each training session. I take Cisco everywhere with me and on multiple occasions I have gotten compliments on his obedience as well as how he hunts the field. Even after moving for work I still travel long distance to take my dog to Ivy League Dog training because I know I can trust Carl and his staff there with Cisco. I have always gotten timely updates and been able to go see Cisco when he is away at training to see his progress. The main difference here is quality and time. I know when I take my dog here that he will get the time and attention he needs to be successful, happy and learn. To put it in perspective Cisco can be unleashed and knows systematically now to always check where I am and to circle back to my left side without even being asked. He listens to commands and is both a good family dog as well as hunting companion (my dog lives with me in my house). This is like a second home to Cisco. If you are like me and care about quality this is the facility for you and your dog.

We took Adi our 6 month old lab to puppy boot camp and to the hunting course with other dogs and live birds; 2 weeks long. Karl is truly the dog whisperer. Adi pulled so much on a leash prior to work with Karl. Not anymore. One week of hunting training and she is retrieving birds. We have also boarded Adi there a few times as well. When we get out of the car she runs up to the office door looking for Karl. She is always so happy to be there. Karl is a very kind man and is no nonsense working with these dogs. We learned so much from him. I would never take her anywhere else!

My wife and I had a great experience here today with our dog. We got an initial assessment of her skills as well as several pointers on things we can do going forward. We have been to several different trainers in the past and learned more in 45 minutes at Ivy League than all of those combined. We will be back.

Had Myla do Puppy bootcamp to get introduced to hunting and I was blown away by how much she learned in such a short time she will definitely be back for more 😃
