We discovered this restaurant through the Cloudigo app. Since it was fully booked inside, they offered us a table outside. The weather was fine, so we agreed — but unfortunately, they didn’t mention that there was construction right in front of the restaurant, which definitely affected the overall ambiance. The service was okay, not great but not terrible either. We ordered ribeye and requested it well done, but unfortunately, it was undercooked. When it came to the bill, we were a group of four and two of us had Cloudigo accounts. The app clearly advertised a 50% discount for two people, but they only applied the discount to two main dishes, which felt quite disappointing. Without Cloudigo, we wouldn’t even have discovered this place due to its distance, so not fully honoring the discount didn’t feel fair.

Had a great experience in Maltese cuisine @Tokki in Mtarfa. This small village is a forgotten discovery or a re visit, not far from Rabat. Tokki offers The Very Best local snails dish in Maltese 'Bebbux'. The horse meat and rabbet were delicious, pasta and chicken served. Rabbit liver is also a speciality. The Patron Joseph seems to have a gifted knack for sauces. The chicken sauce and pesto in pasta, first class. It's a great value for money place, a typical traditional Maltese style restaurant with a friendly approach, and if you like snails, this is the Best I tasted locally!

We came here by coincidence and it turned out to be one of our best finds lately. The place is a bit hidden so you won't be able to see it from the road. However, the food gives you the feeling as if you are back at Grandma's kitchen. We were welcomed by Joseph, a really lovely person who happend to be the chef-patron. The menu is based on Maltese food with a lovely selection of some traditional & some contemporary dishes. We had a focaccia & fried rabbit liver for starters. The focaccia is a bit big as a starter and can be shared between 2people. As for our main courses, we had a spaghetti octopus (which had a good amount of octopus pieces in it), and the other dish was Braġioli (Beef Olives - which was well cooked and accompanied by a rich tomato sauce & roasted Maltese style potatoes). Warm bread buns were also served with our mains. As for dessert we were super full, however we could not leave without a sweet treat do we shared 1 portion of Imqaret (home made date fritters) served with vanilla ice cream, which were one of the best I ever tasted. We ordered also a glass of wine, a cocktail and a bottle of sparkling water. The total price was 70.75 euros for both, and we were given a free homemade prickly pear liqueur on the house. We will definitely be back - keep it up.

The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant. We started our meal with a delicious starter, and for main course, we opted for the spaghetti with rabbit, which was delightful. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the rabbit was tender and flavourful. Although the menu didn’t feature any cocktails, we requested an Aperol spritz, and the staff accommodated our request, mixing up a refreshing drink. Overall, a wonderful evening. We recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit.

Great authentic Maltese food cooked personally by a really passionate and fun owner. We even got to try some tasty chocolate liqueur as a bonus. Very nice and quiet place. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Malta and looking for a real Maltese culinary experience. Polecam.
