I cannot recommend Island Residential / Island Contractors enough! From the very first contact, they were responsive, thoughtful, and encouraging. Many contracting firms didn’t even return my calls. Sean and Brandon not only responded, but worked with me long-distance to determine what we could tackle within my needs and budget. We traded sketches, ideas for materials, and screenshots, ultimately deciding on a great remodel plan. Sean would even shoot videos as he drew things out on a white board to ensure that I understood all of the options and his recommendations. Not once did I ever feel like I was being pressured into using a certain material or accepting a bad design. It was a total collaborative effort. Island Contractors’ team abated the popcorn ceilings throughout my home; repainted all of the walls, ceilings, and doors; and completely overhauled the kitchen and a bathroom. While I was off-island, they sent pictures and videos *every day* so that I was kept informed of how the project was progressing. They promptly answered any questions I had, and apprised me if anything surprising popped up. Unlike some contractors who increase the price or skimp on materials, Island Contractors stuck to our original budget and materials. We did find some unexpected issues, but worked together to decide how to resolve them for a fair price. Island Contractors finished the painting and remodel exactly on time, and within our agreed-upon budget. They came back to do some additional work, including building a gorgeous custom bookshelf, which was also completed on time and within budget. And then… my water heater sprung a slow leak. By the time it was discovered, there was water underneath all of the flooring and standing water and mold in a bathroom. I should mention that I discovered it on Super Bowl Sunday and even though Sean was hosting a gathering at his house, he answered my text and even called me to make sure I was ok for that day. The crew responded quickly after that, pulling up the flooring, cutting drywall, and drying everything out. Sean recommended a plumber who replaced the hot water heater for me within a week. The pricing for the remediation and the flooring replacement was easily accepted by the insurance company, and now they are about halfway into replacing the flooring. Island Contractors discussed all of the potential flooring materials with me and helped me choose something that would be long-lasting and ideal for my home. I think I’ve worked with almost everyone on the team: Sean, Brandon, Arnold, Marllon, Luke, Patrick, Adam, Glenn… Am I forgetting anyone? They have all been just wonderful. I feel as if I have a true partner for anything I might need to not only maintain my home but to improve it. Don’t hesitate to give Island Contractors a call!

Island Residential Services has a skilled team that does exceptional work! I enjoyed working with Arnold, Brandon, and Sean as they were very responsive and accommodating and focused on creating a high-quality finished kitchen for us. Sean is a creative problem solver and always had ideas to ensure that the project would turn out great. It was especially great having a skilled craftsman like Marlon work on our kitchen remodel as he focused on the small details and creating perfection! Great company to work with!

I bought a fixer upper that I wanted to be my forever home. I’m so glad I found Island Contractors. Very professional & very transparent. That is important especially because it can be technical and you don’t know if you’re being fooled. Not these guys. Highly recommend! Brandon, Sean (Owner), and crew are absolutely fantastic to work with! They were incredibly nice and also reliable, responsive, and flexible in working with our needs/budget/schedule. Island Residential does great work for fair prices. They rescued us during a flood disaster caused by a broken pipe, and they handled everything from the water mitigation, to packing & storing our belongings, to the full renovation. Highly recommend!

Island Contractors did a fantastic job for us...removal & Installation of a new Washing machine. Technician Adam was skilled, on time super helpful, everything everything went perfect.... They helped us deal with American Home Sheild- Not an easy task! Brandon went above and beyond in communicating with me, getting us help asap, A pleasure to deal with! We're glad to know of the company and would definitely hire them for other work in the future.

Island Contractors was a very professional group to have worked with and hire. They completed a master bathroom renovation and the outcome is stunning. From the communication on anything new as well as helping to make sure the process went smooth. While in our home all employees and workers were polite and very respectful. If we have any other things to get done we will definitely be calling them again.

We also requested some last minute changes and had extra projects which they completed on time. We loved their staff and the quality of the work performed, and now will only use Island Contractors for future projects no matter how big or small. Marlon and Garrison were exceptional workers and we trusted them in our home with our children and grandchildren.
