Ivan and Jacqueline did a stellar job of replacing my roof shingles and tearing out and rebuilding my backyard staircase and landing with a custom high rail. They were prompt and efficient despite some weather and vehicle challenges. Cleanup of the jobsite was excellent. If I need more work done to my home I would not hesitate to call them again or refer them to my friends and neighbors.

We hired Ivan to do a quick fence removal job. He is responsive, fast and professional. Update: we recently also had Ivan put in a set of stairs to our balcony. The build quality was fantastic, he completed the work on time and was respectful and explained everything to us clearly throughout the process.

I found Intricate on Google so thought it appropriate to leave a review to help others make a decision. Ivan and his team were awesome....more like partners in my reno project than "just" a contractor. I hired Intricate to replace my roof, soffit, fascia, and siding....all on my cottage a good distance from the city. I'm very happy with the results, and with the way in which Ivan communicated throughout the project. I'd use Intricate again.

Ivan was super quick to respond when I called about a siding repair. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, provided useful suggestions, and even fixed an unrelated issue he had noticed at no extra charge. Definitely went above and beyond and we would be happy to hire him again!

So grateful to Ivan for prioritizing patching our roof in a rush before the winter and clearing away the problematic / overhanging branches and trees. Highly recommend!

We had Ivan do our cottage, bunkie and garage roofs. He also replaced some of the fascia and roof plywood that had begun to rot. All 3 buildings look great. He and his team worked hard and got it done in no time, clean up was thorough. Everything was very professionally done. We are very happy with a job well done. We’re hoping he can do some window replacements for us in the spring.

Ivan from Intricate was the first to respond from all the companies I contacted for quotes. He was able to come take a look at the roof and provide a quote the same night I started looking for companies. I spent the next week talking with quoters from the companies I did not choose. I chose Intricate because Ivan sounded knowledgable, enthusiastic, and invested in his company. We discussed and agreed upon the details of the job and I provided a deposit. A couple days later he had the materials ordered from a local supplier where I was to make the purchase. Another couple days after that the materials were craned onto our roof with Ivan's help. Another couple days later he began work! The two person team was able to remove old shingles then install new decking, drip edges, maxi vents, underlayment, water shield, ice shield, and shingles on the ~1850ft² roof in 2 days. During the installation, Ivan kept us up to date with plenty of photos. They're a no fuss, get the job done right type of company. I would recommend them without hesitation.
