One of our latest edits. This is Saltillo tile that was sealed in wax (coating). Over time the coating (wax) breaks down and holds on to dirt and grime. We start by applying an all natural stripper to emulsify the wax (coating), dirt, and grime. Agitation is required to remove old coating from the tile and grout. Once we have broken the bond between the old wax and tile/grout. Our powerful tuck mounted machines inside our vans create high pressure hot water and suction to rinse and extract the surfaces clean. High powered air movers are placed on the floor to dry the tiles and grout. This is when the fun part begins. A color seal is then applied to the grout line close off any porousness of the grout and adds beautiful consistent color to the grout. When the color seal dries. 4 coats of a heavy duty gloss coating is applied to protect iethe grout lines and tiles. This coating creates a protective layer between the outside world and the tile and grout. Cleaning and maintaining is achieved just by wiping the cured coating clean.
