Today we’re here cleaning standard port fuel injectors.
After disassembly, the injectors go into an ultrasonic cleaner where they’re thoroughly cleaned. Our philosophy is simple: you clean from the bottom up.
There’s a trend out there where people spray cleaner on top of the injector and think that fixes the problem. But debris doesn’t come out that way.
We remove the internal filters, clean everything ultrasonically, and then use our equipment to backflush the injector, pushing the cleaning solution through the injector the correct direction.
Fuel injectors are highly sophisticated components. They’re not brake parts. Please don’t spray brake cleaner on them. Proper cleaning requires the right process and the right equipment.
