I have taken two classes with ILWTI and have learned so much from both of the classes, the CCS class and Modern MLD class. I was able to complete the tele-training sessions for both and still received excellent feedback and training. They do an excellent job of explaining the content and the research and evidence behind their techniques and processes. If you are interested in becoming a lymphedema therapist, this is a great company to complete it with!

My doctor referred me and I can say I am so thankful he did. After one session I can feel the difference. These are awesome folks such as Mrs. McKeown and Mrs. Donna. The receptionist is very important and "sets" the patient at ease upon checking in. Charline Robinson Moultrie, GA

My name is Marcelo- I’m a Physical Therapist and recently completed the course for Lymphedema and Wound Care certification. My entire journey to do this has been an ups and down for me. I scouted few other institutes and academy to finally do this course but finally signed up for ILWTI. Brian- who was my initial contact was extremely helpful and assisted me throughout my completion- also, the company is very flexible in payments and it helped me completed my course. The instructors are very knowledgeable, guided us both the online and live interaction. I took both the live and remote course and worked for my time and availability. If by any chance one of my classmate misses a class or course- the instructors are very flexible and will also help you re schedule what you missed. Brandy, Suzie, Heather and Marijke- thank you! you guys are a tremendous help! Thank you for lending and sharing that brains and knowledge for the continuity of our profession and develop new talents to pursue this course in our healthcare community. The resources will not just end at the time of course completion- one can access a portal and read those recent resources uploaded by the instructions with current knowledge both from journals and expertise from certified therapist practicing in seasoned time. As now an alumni- I am just so proud to have found this group who is willing to further the knowledge of the new graduates toward achieving the maximum knowledge that the group can offer. Five stars and 2 thumps up! God bless ILWTI- please continue to share the knowledge and keeping this profession on the map of healthcare. Thank you!

I took the wound care certification course at ILWTI and very much enjoyed it! I’ve had wound care classes from other companies, but they just scratched the surface of knowledge. ILWTI’s course went much deeper with their material. After completing the class, I felt prepared and confident on how to best care for open areas related to edema. I also feel like I can explain better to my patients, the pathology of lymphedema and healing. I feel like having this knowledge has made me a better therapist. I just wish I would’ve known about their course sooner. A must take!

It was an amazing opportunity to train with ILWTI. The curriculum is really organized and presented to accommodate various styles of learning. The research and information is current and relevant. I received individual attention when I didn’t understand a concept or felt unsure about a topic. I learned so much! The instructors are incredibly supportive. I’ve reached out several time since the course for advice and guidance and they’ve always offered me support. I’ve recommended this course to several people.

As both an alumnus and a faculty member of ILWTI, I can tell you confidently how clinically relevant and applicable this course is. It covers so much knowledge in its three content areas (MLD, compression and wound care) and does it in a way that is practical and usable in many settings. If you have been thinking about adding one of these areas to your practice, consider using these courses to help understand how vitally important all three areas are to the others. My fellow faculty are such professionals and lead their fields. And now you can choose from fully in-person, fully online or hybrid class options.

I had the opportunity to take ILWTI's wound care certification course in December of 2022. The course was top notch. It was very informative and very hands-on. The instructors were always available to answer and explain any questions we had as students. I will definitely be attending more course by ILWTI in the future.

ILWTI has a foundational core group of nationally recognized educators. Education in lymphatic and wound management is based on peer reviewed published data, clinical expertise, and from extensive personalized hands on therapy. This group’s best in class teaching originated from bedside time and patient centric engagement. Compassionate care, elevating outcomes, advancing the state of the art and science, originates with inspirational, passionate internal drive; this is the experience and education you will achieve with ILWTI. I completed my CLWT course this past June and I am so happy and thankful for ILWTI. As a full time working mom of three, week long courses are almost impossible to complete successfully. ILWTI full remote learning gives working parents an opportunity to further their expertise from the convenience of home without sacrificing educational content. The professors and staff are all extremely supportive and go the extra mile to ensure all information is understood and executed appropriately. Not only during class, but remain a support well beyond the end of class. I am so pleased with all aspects of the ILWTI courses and will definitely return for continuing education

I completed the Certified Lymphedema and Wound Therapist (CLWT) training program at the International Lymphedema and Wound Training Institute (ILWTI) back in 2021 and I am still very impressed. The program was comprehensive and well-organized, and it covered all of the essential topics in lymphedema and wound care. The instructors Brandy, Suzie and Marijke are all experts in their field, and very passionate about teaching. They made the material easy to understand and they were always available to answer questions. I also appreciated the extensive hands-on exercises, which gave me a chance to practice what I was learning. Overall, I found the CLWT training program at ILWTI to be an excellent resource and investment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in a career in lymphedema and wound care. Our entire team has been certified through ILWTI. We are making a large difference in our community's care because of the modern evidence based practiced we learned at ILWTI. Please note that the curriculum provided is comprehensive, up-to-date and evidence based. Not anecdotal or based on old traditions. The instructors are very knowledgeable, experienced and leaders in their field. Many are primary leaders and own clinics, they speak often at national/ international conferences, participate in current lymphedema research as well as being the drivers for positve change in this field. If you are interested in learning more about lymphedema and wound care, I highly recommend the CLWT training program at ILWTI. It is a valuable investment in your future career and for the best outcomes for your patients!
