Re-Felt and Batten completed on this Bungalow in Wimbourne.
Customer came to Ikonic Roofing ltd for a free roof inspection after suspecting some issues, The tiles were still in great shape after nearly 40 years old and were reusable, The felt was rotten, the corners of the timbers, lead valleys cracked, and mortar blown from many places.
We offered a few option to go down, the customer didn't want a shinning new roof and wanted to keep the existing tiles to match the surrounding area, We sourced our premium breathable felt, graded batten and got to work. Also the property had a Flat roof with felt that wasn't to bad and maybe could've lasted another 5 years or so, The customer wanted that overlayed with Soprema SL500 which we were more than happy to do.
Our team completed the project in 3/4 days, also the customer had a 10 year guarantee from Ikonic Roofing Ltd for the works completed.
