In April 2021, President Biden declared April National Arab American Heritage Month to recognize the 3.5 million Arab Americans who exemplify “so much of what our country stands for: hard work, resilience, compassion, and generosity.”
As part of this commemorative spirit, we were honored and humbled to be recognized, along with other Arab American Business Leaders, by the Board of Clark County Commissioners for all of the positive contributions and impact on our community.
Several Arab American Chamber of Commerce Board Members were among these leaders, including Co-Founder and Co-Chair Dr. Bassam Al-Owir, Vice President Dr. John Nassar, and President / CEO Moawia Sanadiki of ICU Computer Solutions / Cartridge World – Las Vegas. Together, these Arab American Business Leaders employ dozens of families across the valley.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Clark County Commissioners and advocates like Jayson Dagher - @JaysonDagher for bringing Arab American narratives to the forefront and celebrating our culture, identity, and substantial societal impact.
