The right window in the right position can turn an ordinary wall into a framed view of the surrounding landscape. CKS Projects, custom home builder across Wollongong and the Illawarra, designs window placement around the specific outlook of each site, whether that is a coastal view, a bushland backdrop or a private garden, so the outside scenery becomes part of the everyday living experience rather than something glimpsed in passing.
This is particularly relevant for clients building across Austinmer, Thirroul and Bulli, where escarpment and ocean outlooks are a key part of the site's value. Achieving the right result takes careful coordination between architectural design, structural engineering and glazing selection, balancing view corridors with privacy, thermal performance and compliance with bushfire attack level and coastal exposure requirements.
