A moody, monochrome take on coastal living.
Inside this custom Huskisson duplex, CKS Projects carried the exterior's dark, sculptural character right through the interior. Polished concrete floors, black detailing and considered fixtures create a strong, contemporary feel that still connects to the coastal bushland setting outside.
Large expanses of glazing bring natural light deep into the living spaces while keeping a clear visual link to the landscape beyond. A suspended black metal fireplace anchors the main living area, adding warmth and sculptural presence to the otherwise restrained palette.
This is custom home building at its core: materials, finishes and layout all working together as one considered design, rather than a collection of separate decisions. It's the kind of detail-led interior that comes from close collaboration between designer and builder from day one.
