A bathroom should feel like a place to slow down and at CKS Projects, we design custom homes across Wollongong, the Illawarra, and the Shoalhaven where every room, including the bathroom, is considered with the same level of care and intention.Soft tones, clean lines, and thoughtful detailing come together to create a space that feels calm, open, and genuinely inviting. But great bathroom design goes beyond atmosphere. It involves a considered approach to spatial planning, wet area waterproofing, fixture selection, storage integration, lighting design, and material specification, all resolved early in the custom build process to ensure the finished result is as practical as it is refined. As a Wollongong-based custom home builder, we integrate bathroom design into the broader architectural and construction workflow from the outset. This means layout decisions are made in context with the home's overall footprint, plumbing configuration, and interior design direction not treated as a separate scope.Key bathroom design elements for your custom home:
Soft, calming colour palettes and natural material finishes
Minimalist, clean-lined fixtures and sanitaryware selection
Layered lighting design for both function and atmosphere
Practical wet area layouts with refined, considered detailing
Integrated storage solutions that reduce visual clutter
Whether you're planning a new custom home, a knockdown rebuild, or a duplex development, a well-designed bathroom adds lasting comfort, daily
