Mende has been an incredible cat sitter to our two cats for the last few years--before we started working with her, we bounced around between several different pet sitters, but our cats never seemed to warm up to them. In Mende's first visit, our cats seemed to immediately fall in love with her, and we never looked back. She's super communicative and reliable, and sends us lots of great photos and videos of our cats while we're out of town. She's great!

Mendé has helped our family out many times and is always extremely communicative and sweet with our cat Bill! She has helped us navigate travel issues like getting stuck in a blizzard and last minute change of plans. She always makes sure we get videos and pictures of our guy and goes above and beyond by helping out with packages/ other odds and ends. Also somehow Mendé is always available when we are in need. Thank you Mendé!!

I found Hounds of Love through a local Facebook group last year when I was in a pinch for a holiday cat sitter. That first visit, I had an issue with my pet camera and Mende even helped me troubleshoot! Since then, Mende has watched my cat several times and will continue to be my go-to sitter. I hate leaving my cat, but always feel comfortable through regular updates and pictures/videos.

Mendé is by far the best petsitter I’ve had for these two anxious furballs. I love them, but they are a handful, especially when separated from me. Mendé is super communicative, reliable, and so nice about my sometimes silly requests/instructions. So happy I found such good care in the city!

Mende is amazing! She’s super kind and clearly loves animals — our cats took to her instantly. She takes wonderful care of them while we are away, sending sweet updates and making sure everything is perfect at home. We can relax knowing they are in great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants a sitter who genuinely loves what she does.

Mende is incredible. She is super communicative, reliable, and our cats love her. She makes sure to send pictures and videos every time she visits, which we greatly appreciate. She even got one of our cats, who is terrified of people, to come out of hiding and fall in love with her. We've been using her as our pet sitter since our cats were little kittens and we trust her completely with our kitties. 10/10 recommend!!

Mende watched our two cats. One of them requires food and medication between a certain window of time. She informed us on the last day of our trip that she was coming early (5+ hours outside of this window for our chronically ill cat). After a 12+ travel day from hell, we arrived home to see one of the cats was completely out of food and our door was left open and unlocked. Needless to say, I don’t think I will be returning to her services after the disregard she showed for the cats.

Mendé is one of the most reliable and communicative dog sitters I’ve ever encountered. She took care of my 2 pups Monte and Bollinger with zero issues or problems. Would easily and highly recommend her.

Mendé takes great care of my cat when I’m out of town! She’s so compassionate with her and always sends me pictures so I know how my cat is doing. She’s a true pet whisperer and so kind. I’ve also had some last-minute trips come up over the years and she’s always been able to check in on her short notice, and that’s been such a relief for me. I get especially stressed when leaving my cat over the holiday season when I travel to see family and Mendé makes it so much easier — I always know my kitty is in good hands and getting the company and care she needs. Highly recommend!
