Hotel Gajraj

The hotel's both interior and exterior was majestic. While the hotel architect was great, the food was insanely amazing and delight full. With great service to the customer therefore I hope in future if we got chance to visit the Gangtok again we will definitely visit this hotel again. Hole we meet again thank you!!!

🌟 Hotel Gajraj, Gangtok – Honest Review (1★) I stayed here recently, and the experience was very disappointing due to multiple issues: 🚫 Wi-Fi was completely non-functional. 🚿 Hot water and geyser were not working, which is unacceptable in a hill station like Gangtok. 📞 The telephone in the room didn’t work, so we couldn’t contact reception. 📺 TV was not working at all. 🚱 Bathroom water supply was unreliable — sometimes there was no water at all. ✅ Only one good point: when water was available, it was accessible in all taps. This hotel lacks basic amenities. Definitely not recommended unless these major issues are fixed.

The staff at Gajraj Hotel were polite and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality added a warm and welcoming touch to my visit. The location of the hotel is convenient, with easy access to nearby markets, transport, and restaurants. It's a great spot for both leisure and business travelers. Thank you

I recently stayed at Hotel Gajraj Palace we are booked deluxe room and overall, my experience was just not good. The hotel need improvement to make the stay more comfortable for guests. First, the cleanliness of the room was not well maintained. The bedsheet wasn't properly washed, which made the stay a little uncomfortable and disappointing. Additionally, in the bathroom area they did not given any essentials and towels, also bathroom is not clen properly so that is also not comfort and hygiene. Another issue was the maintenance of the facilities. Some of the electric sockets in the room were not good and old socket. The service and staff behavior were decent. As for the location and overall atmosphere, the hotel is situated in a decent area, and the surroundings are fine. As per rooms and atmosphere room price is to high.

Best hotel in mg road in my opinion great service,didnt have to ask to restock the food like other hotels near mg road. MUST visit

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gajraj in Gangtok! The hotel is very nice and well-maintained. The staff behavior was excellent — very polite, helpful, and supportive throughout my stay. The location is also great, just a short distance from MG Road, which made exploring the city super convenient. One funny thing I noticed — the room key (and its locket) is huge! Carrying it around felt like I was holding the key to a treasure chest! But honestly, it just added to the charm of the place. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gangtok!

Not Working List - Geyser, TV and Wifi Only Working Amenity you get is Lift service, Very Poor Property, Damp Rooms, Wardrobes are smelling badly, no proper windows in Deluxe Rooms.

Very nice, kind and polite staff. I love the way they treat us. Restaurant and the taste of the food is really amazing. But the rooms should be redesigned and reconstructed.
