Hotel en Cotopaxi - El Chasqui Guest House

I wish I could give more than 4 stars for this place. If you’re a remote worker, this is the place to stay. The WiFi worked great. The accommodation is peaceful and wonderful; modern as well. Equipped with full kitchen (including an oven)! There is a wonderful restaurant nearby owned by a lovely Ecuadorian family. The only drawback to this retreat is that there aren’t any grocery stores within walking distance. So if you’re staying here for more than a few days, come with groceries because the kitchen is begging to be used here. Marcia and Esther are wonderful ladies! They are so kind and inviting. They felt like family for the week I was there.

Stayed here for a week and was very surprised with how nice the place was. Great views all around on clear days and also very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Good restaurant right next door and Latacunga is also a short drive away. The service and was top tier and also very welcoming, had a great time meeting the host Marcia. Good continental breakfast included as well. Fast internet too, no problems at all working remotely. I definitely plan on staying here again next time I visit Cotopaxi. One of the best places I've stayed in Ecuador.

Highly recommend staying at this beautiful guest house. The rooms are all clean, a great size, and have new furnishings, meanwhile maintaining the cozy atmosphere. It is located in a great area with Cotopaxi national park just a short distance away. The kitchen and common areas are well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. Absolutely amazing guest house. Brand new and fancy house equipped with all you need. Breakfast is amazing and a lot of beds are wonderfully comfortable everything is clean and new. Lovely hot shower. But most important Marcia is an amazing host who speaks extremely good English and is very helpful and informative and friendly. The view over Cotopaxi is amazing. Definitely recommend.

Our stay was perfect, we were only guests there and felt so welcome. The house and rooms are very modern and clean with all needed facilities. The owner runs everything by her own, even cleaning and she was very friendly. The breakfast was also one of the best we had in Ecuador. Highly recommend!!

One of the nicest properties I've been to on my holiday and so good to have a kitchen. Loved the outdoor areas too. The host couldn't have been more helpful. Easy to get to Cotapaxi National Park.

Wonderful place to stay. Easy access and great facilities, the perfect place to relax or explore the surroundings of the majestic Cotopaxi. The host was so caring, made our stay so confortable that we will be back for sure.
