My control arm on my car broke and State Farm sent hook and go. I showed the driver that the wheel was detached and he said it was fine to pull it up the ramp. When he tried he bent my bumper bc the wheel was stuck. He again proceeded to unhook it and try again only to bend the bumper further. He then let me know that he would have to call someone to take the wheel off of the car but he couldn’t do it and it would be 20 more minutes before someone could get there which he should have done in the first place. I felt like the driver didn’t care whether or not he damaged my car and to be honest he smelled like pot. I don’t care what people do on their own time but I sure hope he wasn’t under the influence while dealing with my car… I hate to ruin anyone’s day and I feel bad about leaving a review like this but it’s not ok to cause more damage and not be accountable.

My call for assistance to Safeco was at 6:55 P.M. I was told Hook and Go towing would be there between 70 and 110 minutes later. I waited two hours and called Safeco back. I was told it would be 45 minutes more. I waited over an hour and called again. The service call had been marked as completed. They said the driver couldn't find the place. He was on Old Tesson Ferry (which I was informed he had been told), rather than on Tesson Ferry Rd. They said the driver was on his way and would be there in ten or fifteen minutes. I waited thirty minutes and called again. They offered to contact another towing company. I declined and waited. The tow truck arrived at 11:20 P.M. This was a second driver who said the first one had gone home. Fortunately, God had let me break down on a lighted restaurant lot with a warm place to wait and my cell phone was working. It could have been so much worse if the breakdown had happened on a dark street and my cell phone had not been working. I got home at 11:40 P.M. The towing company is located in Affton, fifteen minutes from where I broke down.

Great service. A man named Alex was super understanding and ended up saving me a lot of money. Would definitely go to them for cheap road side assistance.

Outstanding service. Staff was friendly, extremely helpful, and got my situation resolved quickly and properly. Abraham did a phenomenal job and I could not recommend this tow company more.

Alex saved us last night…I had a flat tire that was impacted on and I couldn’t break the lug nuts free with the oem tire tool. Hook and Go Alex arrived right when he said he would and made it happen. All the way in Cahokia no less and we live in Ballwin so we were no where near home. Thank you again Hook and Go for the excellent service if I could give you 10 Stars I definitely would.

Hook and Go towing were exceptional. I had a very unusual and difficult towing situation that left me stranded on the side of the road for over 10 hours. My Road side assistance couldn't find someone that would take it on. Hook and go to the rescue. They agreed to do the job and pulled off a highly challenging tow. I can't express how thankful I was for them and the superior service they provided. Hopefully I will never need their services again but if I am ever in a bind in St Louis they will be the only people I would call.

My car wouldn’t start and kept making a clicking sound every time I turned the key. After attempting to jump it myself, I reached out to State Farm for roadside assistance, and they contacted Hook and Go. Upon arrival, the tow truck operator said the problem sounded like it might be my starter, which is what I’d assumed, but he wanted to check the battery just in case. After a few tries, he was able to get the car to start while hooked up to his machine, but it was clear it wasn’t able to hold a charge and would need to be replaced. He let me know he could have someone bring a new battery to my apartment and install it on site, which would all fall into the “roadside assistance” category of my insurance, meaning I would only have to pay for the cost of the battery itself. The other person arrived quickly and did a great job getting the new battery installed quickly and professionally. I really appreciated their effort to save me the trouble of having my car towed to a shop and paying for labor that wouldn’t be covered by my insurance once my car was moved. If I ever need help in the future, this is a company I would seek out again.

Needed a quick tow and they showed up in 15 minutes. Great service, very friendly. Next time I need a tow, I won’t waste my time with insurance. I’ll just call hook & go.
