My control arm on my car broke and State Farm sent hook and go. I showed the driver that the wheel was detached and he said it was fine to pull it up the ramp. When he tried he bent my bumper bc the wheel was stuck. He again proceeded to unhook it and try again only to bend the bumper further. He then let me know that he would have to call someone to take the wheel off of the car but he couldn’t do it and it would be 20 more minutes before someone could get there which he should have done in the first place. I felt like the driver didn’t care whether or not he damaged my car and to be honest he smelled like pot. I don’t care what people do on their own time but I sure hope he wasn’t under the influence while dealing with my car… I hate to ruin anyone’s day and I feel bad about leaving a review like this but it’s not ok to cause more damage and not be accountable.

My call for assistance to Safeco was at 6:55 P.M. I was told Hook and Go towing would be there between 70 and 110 minutes later. I waited two hours and called Safeco back. I was told it would be 45 minutes more. I waited over an hour and called again. The service call had been marked as completed. They said the driver couldn't find the place. He was on Old Tesson Ferry (which I was informed he had been told), rather than on Tesson Ferry Rd. They said the driver was on his way and would be there in ten or fifteen minutes. I waited thirty minutes and called again. They offered to contact another towing company. I declined and waited. The tow truck arrived at 11:20 P.M. This was a second driver who said the first one had gone home. Fortunately, God had let me break down on a lighted restaurant lot with a warm place to wait and my cell phone was working. It could have been so much worse if the breakdown had happened on a dark street and my cell phone had not been working. I got home at 11:40 P.M. The towing company is located in Affton, fifteen minutes from where I broke down.
