Extremely responsive, highly professional. We used AlleyCat during quarantine because rats moved into our basement. 5 years later, more rats came back and used an opening that was created by adding an irrigation pipe. Sam came quickly to inspect, & then James brought a 4 man army the same week. AlleyCat's quote for the job was not cheaper, but the work they committed to was far less thorough than Honest Rodent. Their philosophy of *thoroughly* sealing the perimeter is quite powerful. As James explained, closing holes within the house is an endless whack-a-mole. This is not the same method as Alley Cat, who didn't effectively seal the perimeter, and spent lots of time inside the house, moving the fridge, etc. If you need prompt, thorough, & courteous extermination, go with Honest Rodent Proofing

I highly recommend this company to anyone who has rodent problems. I discovered that my crawl space had a mess of issues that were caused by rodents, including damage to my plumbing and air ducts. Chris came out, crawled my house, and clearly explained every problem that needed to be addressed. Although it wasn’t a cheap project, the quote was still incredibly reasonable. I had never heard of a “rat slab,” but after Chris explained the benefits of pumping in concrete to create a solid barrier from tunneling rats, I was sold. When Josh and his team arrived, they were friendly, polite, and very professional in their work. Particularly, I really appreciated their attention to detail. If my wife and I had any questions or concerns, Josh had the answer. I was amazed at how much they accomplished each day, and Josh always kept me in the loop regarding the work progress. They finished the job in about 4 days, which was a bit longer than originally planned, but only because of some unrelated plumbing problems (prior owners doing shoddy work). Once the plumbing issues were resolved, the company scheduled me for the earliest time to finish the job. I am absolutely satisfied with the finished product. My house is as it should be and I’m very confident that the rodents won’t be back anytime soon!

We had a severe rodent infestation in our crawl space and received multiple bids before choosing Honest Rodent Proofing — even though their price was higher than others. They recommended slabbing to prevent rats from digging holes and nesting, and their crew did an excellent job with the removal, disinfecting, and laying of the slab. They also performed several inspections after the work was completed. However, we later noticed some droppings in the area and were unhappy with the post-inspection process. When we raised this concern, they responded quickly and sent the right crew member to conduct a thorough inspection. This gave me complete confidence that the company stands behind its work and truly cares about its customers. At this point, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t see rodents again, as they can cause severe damage to the home, pose health risks, and incur significant repair costs. Based on my overall experience, I can say that Honest Rodent Proofing delivers quality work and honors its commitment to customer satisfaction.

We discovered rodent droppings in our attic and crawl space, and were recommended to Honest Rodent Proofing. They came out to assess the problem and quickly provided a quote that thoroughly laid out all the recommended work to ensure a rodent free property. Since the amount of work needed was extensive, I had many questions on the services, and Anthony, the owner, came out to personally answer questions and do his own inspection. He really provided peace of mind with the services he was offering. Not many companies do that, so I was really appreciative that the owner came out. After comparing quotes, scope of work, and best options to protect our home and health, we decided to go with Honest Rodent Proofing, and I am so happy we did. We ended up doing the following services: rat proofing the home, attic and crawl space clean up/disinfecting, new attic insulation, new HVAC duct work, sump pump replacement, and rat slab. Yami was great with coordinating services and was ultra responsive. Anthony and Yami had a massive crew out to our house to complete all those services in just 3 days. Everyone in the working crew was kind, professional, hard working, and kept my house extremely clean especially considering the mess we were dealing with. Baby was our lead guy and he managed the day to day work extremely well between the crew of guys and our family. Josh was very helpful with fixing our sump pump and creating proper drainage, and working with the concrete guys. We really appreciate all the other guys in the crew -- Also, Cheyenne, Clemente, Sam, Pablo, and Mario. They all showed up on time, worked hard and efficiently, and treated our home with a lot respect. Thank you all for helping us during a chaotic time.

I don’t normally post reviews but this time I had no choice as a huge shout out was necessary to let everyone and their mothers know how fantastic this company is! From the start Chris the estimator gave me an honest and straightforward explanation of the situation with rat infestation in the house. He let me know exactly what they could and could not do and gave me a fast quote on services. I had multiple issues with my situation that I will not go into detail about,but honest rodent worked with me and helped me like no other company would. The great service continued when we finally scheduled work when Josh and his crew Fernando and James showed up and worked their tails off cleaning up the unit, going over and above my expectations. Everyone within this company, including the woman who I first spoke with on the phone were professional and absolutely fantastic. I recommend them to anyone with a rat infestation issue as well as afull unit cleanup! Thanks so much to them I have peace of mind back

Great company did amazing work. They found gaps and places chitters can in that would never have found without them. The guys were super nice and was clear they knew what they were doing and experts. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Don't hire this company! At first, everything when smoothly, but in the end, it was a bad experience. I hired Honest Rodent Proofing because I found droppings in my storeroom and a hole in the wall caused a rodent. A very bad smell was coming into my house, so I called for an estimate. I met with Anthony and his pricing seemed reasonable so I and hired him to do the work, which included plumbing, waste removal, sanitation and odor elimination. When the work was complete, after a few days, the bad smell was not gone, it seemed even worse. When I called to ask for someone to come out to check on the crawl space and perhaps do further sanitation, Anthony refused, became belligerent and started shouting, stating that he would not send someone out. He also said that my warranty was void because I declined to have a door replaced. The technician who did the work said the door was not necessary, and that I could add it at a later time, with no indication that not replacing the door would void the warranty. When I told Anthony this, he gaslit me and continued to become escalated in his tone. I've never had a business owner speak to me in such a rude, unprofessional manner. Rather and fix the work, he said, if you're not happy, I'll just give you a refund. Although I explained that's not what I was looking for, he said, with hostility, "I'll just give you your money back". It's been 3 weeks. He canceled the rodent trap checks and my warranty. He has not followed through on the refund. NOT VERY HONEST. Don't hire this company!

Josh’s team was wonderful to work with! They came on time, were extremely clear in what they were doing and stuck to the estimate. The crew left everything clean after a day of work and were clear on next steps regarding follow up visits. Highly recommend Josh and crew.

Incredible service, the Team is clean, quick and knowledgeable. We have been battling Rats for 2 years. Honest Rodents did in 24 hours what 3 other companies were unable to achieve. They identified the main “Bingo” (point of enter) once they explored the attic within an hour. They know Rat behavior!!! They are the BEST!

Honest Rodent Proofing did an incredible job with our house. We moved in 8 weeks ago and while we knew the home had a rodent problem, we didn't know the extent. After a few bids, it was clear that Honest Rodent Proofing was the right company/team for the job. We did the nuclear option – subfloor concrete slabs, perimeter sealing, insulation cleanup/disposal, new sump pump install – the works. Expensive but well worth it. And to top it off...when I noticed a lingering rat show up INSIDE the house (at 36 weeks pregnant, when my husband was out of town all week), they came right away the next day, installed cameras and new traps and monitored the situation over the course of 2 days while I stayed in other accommodations. I came home to a rat free house and felt so much better before baby came. The whole team was incredibly responsive to all my inquiries and kept me informed on the progress. Truly well worth the cost and highly recommend – plus, the 5 year warranty is fantastic.
